Betty J. Miller, 75, of Russellville passed away Sept. 4, 2008 at her residence.
The visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Spry Memorial Chapel in Russellville on Sunday, Sept. 7. The funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 8 at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Billy Thorn officiating. Interment will be in Tharptown Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ollie and Arizona Creekmore; brother, M.C. Creekmore; and sisters, Audie Higbee and Gwen South.
She is survived by her husband, Lester C. Miller; children, Patricia Busch, Victoria (Gary) Rotell and Kristie (Craig) Wind; stepchildren, David Miller and Diane (Kenneth) Wokurka; grandchildren, Donald Busch, Steven Niece, Sean Niece, Ashley Wind, Bailey Wind, Brandon Miller, Joshua Wokurka, Alicia Wokurka and Venessa Wokurka; sister, Ann Creekmore; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Brenda Gail McGee O'Kelley, age 56, Phil Campbell, Alabama passed away Sept. 2, 2008. She was born in Russellville on July 8, 1952 to William H. McGee and Gwendolyn Latham McGee.
The funeral service was held Sept. 4 in the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jim Poss officiating. Interment will be in Blue Springs Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jerry McGee, Jr., Greg Marshall, Michael Marshall, Darryl Posey, Hershel O'Kelley and Derrick Slatton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frankie O'Kelley; son, Brandon O'Kelley; parents, William and Gwendolyn McGee; sister, Sue McGee; brothers, John, James, Billy, Jimmy and Jerry McGee.
She is survived by her son, David Frankie O'Kelley and wife, Shirley Michelle; grandson, Frankie O'Kelley; daughter-in-law, Brenda Lee O'Kelley; sister, Mary McGee; brothers, Howard, Tommy, Gene and David McGee; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Brenda Sue Carlson, 64, of Haleyville passed away Aug. 31, 2008 at her home. She was a Baptist and retired from Haleyville Health Care.
The funeral service was Sept. 3 at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville with Bro. Ricky Mann officiating. Interment was in Union Grove Cemetery in Delmar.
She is survived by her husband, Lloyd Carlson; children, Jeffrey Carlson, Jerry Carlson and Sandra Nava; brother, Kenneth Clark; grandchildren, Courtney Carlson, Christopher Carlson, Wesley Carlson, Katrina Nava, Michael Carlson and Keara Carlson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Lestie Clark; brothers, Delno, Rayburn, Alton and Thurl Clark; and granddaughter, Kasi Ann Nava.
Pinkard Funeral Home assisted the family.
