Mason Shane Scott, 6, of Russellville passed away Aug. 16, 2008.
Mason had lived his entire life in Russellville and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was a first grade student at West Elementary School in Russellville.
The funeral service is Wednesday, Aug. 20 at 11 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church in Russellville with burial in Franklin Memory Gardens. The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service. Officiating will be Wade Wallace, Greg Reynolds and Grady Parrish. Visitation was Aug. 19 at Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville.
Mason is survived by his parents, Jeremy and Christy Bray Scott of Russellville; brother, Noah Riley Scott; grandparents, Dale and Evelyn Scott of Russellville and Donald and Kathy Bray of Haleyville; great-grandparents, Claudine Scott of Phil Campbell, Louise Bray of Haleyville and Jessie Hyde of Haleyville; his "MiMi" Mitzi Bray; and his AdamBob Bray.
Pallbearers will be Cody Glasgow, Tyler Harbin, Chris Speck, Kelly Bragwell, William Markham and Daniel Beard.
Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville will be directing.

Roberta Jackson, 79, of Russellville passed away Aug. 16, 2008 at Terrace Manor Nursing Home.
The funeral service was Aug. 18 at Spry Memorial Chapel with interment in Franklin Memory Gardens.
She is survived by her son, Glen Jackson of Russellville; daughter, Linda Martin of Muscle Shoals; grandchildren, Mike and Selena Jackson of Trinity, Greg and Tonya Jackson of Caper Core, Texas, Deanna and Ted Tidwell of Muscle Shoals and Linda and Jon Retherford of Winchester, Tenn.; sisters, Reba Saint of Russellville and Gertrude Andrews of Nashville.

Jeanette Borden Owen, 73, of Huntsville and formerly of Russellville passed away Aug. 17, 2008 at Cogburn Health and Rehab in Huntsville.
The funeral was Aug. 20 at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Tommy Franklin officiating. The burial was in Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Leona Wilson Borden; brother, Hollis Borden; and sister, Betty Bradford.
She is survived by her sons, Donny Bradford of Huntsville, Ron and Patty Powell of Garland, Texas and Steve and Trish Powell of Amarillo, Texas; brother, Joe and Betty Borden of Russellville; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
