"I am looking forward to serving our readers and advertisers in this new role and am mindful of the important obligations this newspaper and its staff have to our community. We will work hard to fulfill each of those obligations" Willis said.
"It's an honor to get to publish my hometown newspaper and I look forward to getting to know even more about the community that means so much to me and my family."
Cannon said he appreciates the support he and his family have received from the community in the past two years.
"I look forward to reading The Franklin County Times with Jonathan as its Editor and Publisher," Cannon said. "Tiffany, Lizzie and I have enjoyed our time here and we're excited about taking on a new challenge."
