Election officials said everything set and ready to go for Tuesday's party primary elections.
Probate Judge Barry Moore said the 24 polling stations throughout the county would be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and there are no changes from previous elections.
A poll worker school was held Tuesday to inform all poll workers of what their responsibilities will be for the primary.
Moore emphasized the point that voters must choose to vote on a Republican or Democratic ballot for the primary. There are no Republicans listed on the local ballot, however, there are several in statewide races.
The primaries will feature county commission, revenue commissioner and county schools superintendent.
Moore said Russellville residents would not be allowed to vote in the superintendent's race.
"There are not any changes for this election cycle," Moore said.
"All of the poll workers have been through school and know what to expect."
Election returns will begin coming back into the courthouse about 7:30 p.m. and will be posted throughout the evening.
A run-off election will be held on July 15 if necessary.
"We are ready and I hope we have a good turnout throughout the county," Moore said.
"There will be sample ballots available for people to look at before they vote and we are still using the scan-type machines that we have been using.
"We are ready to go."
