William M. Thrasher

William Mark Thrasher, 42, of Haleyville, passed away on May 20, 2008.
He was a member of Pebble Volunteer Fire Department.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville. Burial will be in Littleville Cemetery.
He is survived by his children, Cody and Brandon Thrasher and Josh Edwards; his parents, Wilson and Barbara Jean Thrasher; sister, Tina McCain and husband, Wes; brother, Tony Thrasher and wife, Tonya; grandmother, Irene Thrasher; nieces and nephews, Brittany Emerson, Chance and Emily McCain and Dustin and Logan Thrasher; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hoyt Thrasher and Clifford and Mozelle Borden.
Gary E. Harbin

Gary Edward Harbin, 59, of Haleyville, passed away on May 21, 2008.
He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
Funeral services were held on May 23, 2008, with Bro. Ron Horton officiating. Burial was in Sand Springs Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Hubbert Harbin; mother, Ola Mae Harbin; son, Gary Brandon Harbin; step-children, Diane Bishop, Darrel Windom, Donna Herbert, Cheryl Windom, Tonya Windom; sister, Rita Tittle; brothers, Ray Harbin, Jerry Harbin, Lelton Harbin, Johnny Harbin and Anthony Harbin; grandchildren, Stephen Tyler Harbin, Britnie Windom, Sky Windom, Hayden Stone Windom, Dylen Windom, Bradley Miller, Daniel Miller, Ashley Windom and Devon Windom; new grandchild, Braylie Cheyenne Harbin is expected to arrive on May 31.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Harbin; daughter, Felicia Thomas; grandson, Landon Heath Baccus.
Nettie E. Berryhill

Nettie Earlene Berryhill, 83, of Russellville, passed away on May 22, 2008, at Russellville Hospital.
Graveside services were held at Vandiver Hollow Cemetery on May 24, 2008, with Bro. Paul Cummings officiating.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlos S. Berryhill and parents, Harry and Sarah Hines.
She is survived by her three children, Sarah Isbell (Bobby), Ann Baskins (Wayne), and Buddy Berryhill (Charlie); eight grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; sisters, Ilene McGuire and Reba Hunt; brother, Odie Hines.
Earlue C. Davis

Earlue Childers Davis, 79, of Vina, died Monday, May 19, 2008, at the Care Center of Red Bay.
She was born Feb. 6, 1929, in Alabama to Luke and Earl Shotts Childers. She was a seamstress employed in garment manufacturing for 36 years and a homemaker.
Funeral services were held on May 21, 2008, at Shottsville Methodist Church with Bro. DeWayne Wells and Bro. Edgar Lee Childers officiating. Burial was in Shottsville Cemetery.
She is survived by three children, Billy Wayne Davis (Dean), Larry Gene Davis and Jerry Lane Davis; one sister, Helen Sparks (Norris); two brothers, Luther Mac Childers (Chris), and Neal Childers (Sue); nine grandchildren, Stacie Sutton, Jeff Davis, Michael Benton, Nick Benton, Lagena Fuqua, Laddie Davis, Laura Davis, Jason Davis and Jessica Jackson; 18 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Davis, Laddie Davis, Jason Davis, Randy Sparks, Greg Sparks, Phillip Childers, Brently Childers and Thad Childers. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Childers and Lance Childers.
