How the Democrats view change

Congress makes the laws and the President has to live with what laws they pass.
Consider that the Democrats have had control of Congress for the past 16 months. When they took over Congress, consumer confidence was at a 2 ? year high; regular gasoline was about $2 per gallon and the unemployment rate was 4.5 percent.
Consider the changes that the Democratic controlled Congress has allowed to happen:
1. Consumer confidence has plummeted.
2. The cost of regular gasoline is over $3.50 per gallon.
3. Unemployment is up 10 percent.
4. American households have seen $2.3 trillion in equity value evaporate (stock and mutual fund losses).
5. Americans have seen their home equity drop by $1.2 trillion dollars.
6. 1 percent of American homes are in foreclosure.
Another change that both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are promising is to repeal the tax cuts President Bush enacted. If these tax cuts are repealed your taxes will go up.
Examples of the tax savings that President Bush enacted that will be gone if a Democrat is elected president are:
1. Single making $30,000 would see his taxes increase from $4500. to $8400.
2. Married couple making $60,000 would see their taxes increase from $9,000 to $16,800.
3. For every 15,000 miles per year that you drive, it is costing about $100 per month because of the high price of gasoline.
4. If Hillary or Obama are elected, you will spend an additional $425 for taxes and gasoline per month if you are single. For married people, it will be an additional $750 per month if you only drive 15,000 miles per year.
My opinion is that voting for Democrats means that I have less money to spend.
