Tuesday Update: Byars announces for commission seat

Stratt Byars has announced his intent to seek election to the office of Franklin County Commission District 1.
Stratt was born and raised in Franklin County. He is a 1981 graduate of Russellville High School and graduated from The University of North Alabama with a B.S. in Management in 1986. Stratt worked as a retail store manager for Rogers Department Store, and has worked in agribusiness and insurance for the last 15 years.
Stratt is married to the former Connie Carr and has 3 children, Stratt, Anna and Conner. The family lives in the Saints Crossroads Community. Stratt and Connie are members and attend First Baptist Church, Russellville.
Stratt looks forward to visiting with the people of Franklin County during the next few weeks before the June 3rd election. Byars said, "When elected, I will work hard to take care of your Franklin County business in a responsible manner."
