I wish to Congratulate Susan Fretwell of Russellville for being appointed by Governor Riley to the Alabama Board of Nursing. When you see Susan, thank her for her willingness to serve the people of Alabama on this important board. She has taken on a great responsibility to help formulate the policies that regulate the nurses in Alabama. She will represent Franklin County well.
Franklin County is looking for other people, like Susan, who are willing to serve our citizens as our elected officials. Now is your opportunity to bring your ideas to improve Franklin County. Our children and grandchildren are depending on you.

Franklin County will elect people for the following offices: Superintendent of Education, Revenue Commissioner, Franklin County Commission (all four places), and District Three School Board Member. If you do not wish to run for one of the offices, encourage one of your friends to run. We need the most qualified candidates to improve Franklin County. With new leadership at the Court House, we can reap the benefits of a Republican President, Republican U.S. Senators, Republican U.S. Representative, and a Republican Governor. Now is the time to step up to the plate and serve our fellow citizens.
