Alice E. Harbin

Alice Eva Harbin, 90, of Russellville, Alabama, died Wednesday, January 30, 2008, at NHC Nursing Home, Moulton.
Mrs. Harbin was a lifelong resident of Franklin County and a member of Macedonia Baptist Church for over 75 years.
The funeral will be Friday, Feb. 1 at 11 a.m., at Macedonia Baptist Church, Newburg, Alabama, with burial in the adjoining cemetery. Officiating will be Eddie Wix and Jerome Sherrill.
Survivors include sons, Thomas Harbin, Russellville, Hugh Ray Harbin and wife, Carol, Russellville, William Harbin and wife, Bonnie, Priceville, Steve Harbin and wife, Laurie, Russellville, and Danny Harbin and wife, Danna, Trinity; daughters, Delores Gaston and husband, Willard, Mt. Hope, Linda Crawford, Muscle Shoals; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilmer G. Harbin.
Fred Brannon

Fred "Curly" Brannon, 60, of Russellville, Alabama, died Wednesday, Jan. 30 at Russellville Hospital.
Mr. Brannon lived most of his life in Franklin County and attended the Baptist Church.
The funeral will be Saturday, Feb. 2 at 11 a.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel, Russellville, with burial in Masterson Cemetery, Moulton. Officiating William Meares and John Powell.
Survivors include wife, Connie Brannon, Russellville, Alabama; son, Corey Jones, Russellville, Alabama; daughters, Tonya Lewis and Sonya Lewis, both of Russellville, Alabama; grandchildren, Alley Sutton and Miley Mitchell, Russellville, Alabama; sister, Laura Flannagan &husband, Gene, Muscle Shoals, Alabama; brothers, Jack Brannon and wife, Genice, Russellville, Alabama, Harvey Brannon and wife, Betty, Louisiana; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Brannon and Essie Brannon; son, Jamie Brannon; brothers, Feemon, Leamon, and Johnny Brannon; sisters, Dessie Long and Flora Wooders.
Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, is directing.
Mavianca L. Baker

Mavianca L. Baker, age 81, of Russellville, died Thursday, January 24, 2008 at Burns Nursing Home.
Funeral services were held Sunday, January 27, 2008 at Hodges Convention Baptist Church with Bro. Kent Walker officiating. Burial was in the Old Line Cemetery.
Pallbearers were her nephews.
Ms. Baker as preceded in death by her husband, John Baker; parents, Douglas Streetman and Ada Oliver Streetman; sister, Maxine West; and brothers, M.D. and Thomas Streetman.
She is survived by son, Johnny and Pat Baker of Moulton; daughters, Linda and Myles Voce of Nashville, Brenda and Charles Nichols of Hamilton; sisters and brothers, Barbara Watts, Ruby Lee Britton, Buster, Jack, Doug and Dwight Streetman; five grandchildren, Jonathan Baker, Shannon Baker, Russell Voce, Paige Vick, and Brooke Nichols; one great grandchild; 14 nieces and nephews.
Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family.
