Lady Bobcats beat Marion Co. 59-46

ROGERSVILLE – Phil Campbell point guard Chasity Morgan scored 31 points Thursday night as the Lady Bobcats beat Marion County 59-46 in the Northwest Alabama Christmas Tournament.
Morgan, who hit 17 free throws, also dished out five assists, while Alissa Smith added 12 points, 10 rebounds and four steals. Jessica Taylor pulled down 21 rebounds and and scored nine points, while Shannon Gasaway finished with six points.
Phil Campbell will play the Belmont (Miss.)-Wayne County winner today at 1:30 p.m.

Tournament favorite Lauderdale County used its full-court press and a balanced scoring attack to beat Phil Campbell 75-44 Wednesday night in the opening round of the Northwest Alabama Christmas Tournament.
Phil Campbell held Lauderdale County guard Kiara Young, a Louisiana Tech signee, to only 15 points but the Lady Tigers had three other starters finish in double figures.
Chasity Morgan led the Lady Bobcats with 19 points, while Jessica Taylor finished with 13.
Phil Campbell will play the Belmont (Miss.)-Wayne County winner today at 1:30 p.m.
