Happy turkey day from all of us to all of you

By Staff
Tomorrow, millions of Americans will gather around their tables and give thanks for a variety of things: health, loved ones, advancement in employment, family and an array of other things.
On the local level, thousands of Franklin County residents will square off around a turkey, ham or some other holiday staple and stuff themselves into oblivion.
The staff here at the Franklin County Times would like to extend its most sincere holiday wishes to those of you out there – nearly 20,000 of you – who welcome us into your home each week.
We consider each of you part of our extended families and part of our network of friends. We are thankful for your readership and we are thankful for our advertisers who have placed the faith of marketing their business with this newspaper.
The Franklin County Times has provided a quality product to both readers and advertisers for nearly 130 years. So, we are thankful for that tradition.
We are thankful for another year as your newspaper and the opportunity to serve our community through civic activity, contributions to local causes and keeping our county informed about what's going on around them.
So, on behalf of the employees at the Franklin County Times – Angie Williams, Tiffany Cannon, Peggy Hyde, Nicole Pell, Karen McAfee, Charles Pounders, Melissa Cason, Kim West, Thomas Douglas, Courtney Honey, Betty Jo Bray, Crystal Newman, Charlene Crochet, Alton Zills, Tommy Nichols and Jason Cannon – Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours.
