Thomas J. Glasgow, age 86, of Russellville, died Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2007 of natural causes.
Memorial services will be held Sunday, Sept. 9, 2007 at North Highlands Church of Christ at 7 p.m. Burial will be in the Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Alzheimer's Association, 117A Long Drive South East, Huntsville, Ala. 38501.
Akins Funeral Home of Russellville assisted the family.
Betty Wingo Pounders
Sept. 6, 2007
Betty Wingo Pounders, age 72, of Russellville, died Thursday, Sept. 6, 2007 at Russellville Hospital. She was a lifelong resident of Franklin County and member of Quinn Memorial Church of Christ.
Graveside services were held Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007 at Wingo Cemetery in Spruce Pine with Lonnie Oldag officiating.
She is survived by children, John Pounders of Florence, and Martha Leindecker and husband, Gerald, of Spruce Pine; sisters, Bonnie Peeples of Ft. Walton, Fla., and Alice Bray of Athens, Ala.; grandchildren, Ty Leindecker and Trey Leindecker, and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers for the service included Randy Woods, Nick Woods, Clay Woods, Ricky Bingham, Nolon Wheeler, and Donald Ezzell.
She is preceded in death by her husband, R.G. Pounders, and parents, James and Ruth Wingo.
Pinkard Funeral Home of Russellville assisted the family.
