Martha Sue Groves

Martha Sue Groves, age 47 of Vina, died Aug. 22, 2007 at her residence. She was born May 19, 1960 in Franklin County to Samuel and Maxine Massey Lewey. She leaves behind a lot of special children in her life that she dearly loved. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Carolyn Michelle Spence, and brother, Gary Jackson.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug. 25, 2007 at 11 a.m. at the Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Red Bay. Burial will be in the Old Burleson cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Bobby Ray Spence of Vina; sisters, Linda Johnson of Russellville and Marie Groves of Bradford, Tenn.; brother, Randall Lewey of Belmont, Miss.; five nieces, one nephew and sister-in-law, Linda Berry of Vina.
Pallbearers for the service include Darrell McKinney, John Ayers, Dustin Miller, Eric Powers, Casey Poores &Shawn Burke with Corey Massey as Honorary Pallbearer.
Deaton Funeral Home assisted the family.
