A Franklin County Jury found a Red Bay man guilty of capital murder for killing his infant son Friday.

The jury came back after only deliberating for two hours Friday afternoon. There was no emotion throughout the courtroom as the verdict came from the solemn jury.
Circuit Judge Terry Dempsey ordered the jury to return Monday morning to determine whether Jody Wayne Waldrop, age 29, of Red Bay should be put to death for killing three-week-old Chance Waldrop in September 2005.
