The Russellville Police Department is looking for a teenager missing from her home since early Saturday morning.
Russellville Police Chief Chris Hargett said that Cindy Zamora, age 15, was last seen by her parents at their home on Gordon Ave. around 11:30 p.m. Friday.
"Her parents said that everyone went to bed around 11:30 Friday night," Hargett said. "Her father realized she was gone when he went into her room around 2:30 a.m. Saturday."
Hargett said that a friend reported seeing the girl in the early morning hours of Saturday in Florence, but the witness could not pinpoint her exact location because he was not familiar with the area.
"Her family tried to locate the girl Saturday through her friends," Hargett said. "When their efforts to locate the girl failed, they reported her missing with the police department."
Zamora is register on the national Web site for missing and exploited children. She is a Hispanic female with brown eyes and brown hair. She weighs 120 pounds, and is five feet, four inches tall. She was last seen wearing blue shorts and a T-shirt. Anyone with any information on her location should contact the Russellville Police Department immediately at 256-332-2230.
