Ray Lee Hyde, 63, of Russellville passed away April 30, 2007.
He was a lifelong resident of Franklin County and a member of North Highlands Church of Christ.
Bro. Ray Lee Hyde was a member of Russellville Masonic Lodge No. 371. He became a Master Mason on July 16, 1976. He was elected Master Mason of Russellville Lodge No. 371 in June 1980 and served until June 1981. He served as District Lecturer for Group 2, District 4 (Franklin and Lawrence counties) from 1996-1999.
He served as personal representative of the Grand Master of Alabama, V. Wayne Causey, from 2000 to 200. He was 32nd degree KCCH Member of the Scottish Rite in the Valley of Birmingham.
He served as chairman of the George Washington Memorial Fund and taught many members. He served as a board member of the Russellville Park and Recreation Department for more than 20 years.
He served in the National Guard for 12 years.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 3 at 2 p.m. at North Highlands Church of Christ in Russellville. Keith Barnett will officiate and Marty Rayburn will provide the music.
Burial will follow in the Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church.
He is survived by his wife, Glenda Hyde of Russellville; sons, Scott (Debbie) Hyde of Iuka, Miss and Marty (Kim) Hyde of Bowie, Md.; daughter, Paula (Donald) Klasing of Charlotte, N.C.; mother, Luvellia Hyde of Russellville; sisters, Peggy (Pete) Innocenti of Cleveland, Ohio and Emogene (Freed) Baker of Russellville; grandchildren, Jessica Hyde, Blake Hyde, Hunter Hyde, Dillon Hyde, Natalie Hyde, Alex Klasing, Christopher Klasing, Makayla Finch and Barry Finch and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be David Grissom, Robert Jones, Robert Shook, Jr., Oscar Lynch, Jeff Smith and Ike Rogers.
Honorary pallbearers will include Johnny Thornton, Gary Hester, Floyd Fennel and Bob Grissom.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Paul Hyde.
Effie Pearl Byrd

Effie Pearl Byrd, 93, of Tuscumbia passed away Monday, April 30, 2007.
Visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. prior to the 2 p.m. funeral service to be held at Spry Memorial Chapel Wednesday May 2, 2007. Bro. Buford Parker will officiate. Interment will be held in Franklin Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Jerry James, Thomas James, Doug Johnson, Keith Pennington, Donald Parker and Michael Hand.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Byrd, granddaughters, Dianne Hale and Beth Pennington; great-grandson, Brandon (BJ) Hale.
She is survived by her daughters, Frances James, Dorothy Johnson and Elizabeth Pennington, all of Tuscumbia; sister, Lynne Willingham; brother, Bill Carmack; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and a host of great-great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family.

Bobby Jack Frederick, 72, of Russellville passed away Sunday, April 29, 2007.
The 11 a.m. funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel Wednesday, May 2, 2007. Bro. Mark Daniel and Bro. Curtis Taylor will officiate. Interment will be in Franklin Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Beasley, Roger Beasley, Doug Hester, Steven Frederick, Blake Frederick, Clifton Frederick, James Ray Frederick, Jr. and Zachery Morgan.
He was preceded in death by a son, Terry Wayne Frederick and parents, Howard and Ollie Mea Frederick.
He is survived by his wife, Mae Sue Beasley Frederick; sons, James Ray Frederick, Larry Steven (Pat) Frederick of Russellville and Clifton Frederick of Russellville; daughter, Deborah Morgan of Muscle Shoals; sister, Pauline (Lawrence) Martin of Ligon Springs; brothers, Johnny Davis Frederick of Russellville, Lester (Janice) Frederick of Russellville; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to Dr. Keith Morrow for all the loving care he gave him and Alacare Hospice for all the good care and kindness they gave him, RN Shelia and Brenda and the CNAs that helped.

Elmira Cook Behel, 74, of Phil Campbell, passed away May 1, 2007.
She was born in Marion, Miss. She was a member of Brushy Creek Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her son, Melvin (Melissa) Behel of Greenhill; daughter, Charlotte (Wade) carpenter of Phil Campbell; sisters, Elnor (Hubert) Mitchell of Iuka, Miss and Ruby (Hershel) Bullock of Columbia, Miss.; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held May 3, 2007 at 2 p.m. at Greenhill Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Robert Huffaker officiating. Burial will follow at Shiloh Cemetery.
Visitation will be held May 2 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Greenhill Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Hershel Bullock, Wade Carpenter, Johnny Wayne Peck, Wesley Denton, Hubert Mitchell and Malcolm Glover.
Clyde Clair Rogers

Clyde Clair Rogers, 93, of Russellville passed away April 30, 2007.
He was a native of Illinois. He lived most of his life in Colorado and for the past 10 years in Russellville. He was a retired musician.
Clyde was known as a music man for the Lord. He shared his talent with the First United Methodist Church where he was a member.
Funeral services will be held May 4, 2007 at 11 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Russellville with Alan Beasley and Clint Busler officiating.
Burial will follow in Franklin Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be held Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.
Survivors include his sons, Jeff Rogers of California and Frank Rogers of Nevada; stepdaughters, Joanna (Richard) Hargett Tutich of Russellville and Peggy (Bill) Hargett Bowen of Huntsville; seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the First United Methodist Church Praise and Worship Team or other music departments.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Rauschenberg Rogers.
