Country Cottage stands out

By Staff
The Country Cottage announced plans for their upcoming Nurse of the Year award yesterday. There are approximately 70 nominees from across the county, but only one will be named the 2007 Nurse of the Year.
The award is designed to honor those who care for patients in a kind and loving fashion.
Having a good nurse is a key element to a successful recovery from any illness or injury.
A nurse can comfort patients, and their loved ones during a time of crisis or they can make treatment easier by just offering a caring hand.
Nursing is a rewarding career, and it touches so many lives.
Many of the residents at the Cottage know first hand what a difference a caring nurse can make in one's recovery, so it is fitting that the Cottage recognizes them for the work they do and the love they pour into it.
The Country Cottage plays a vital role in our community from awarding the yard of the month in an attempt to bring to our county, to honoring those who deserve praise and recognition. The residents and staff at the Cottage are always willing to help whenever they can from hosting a benefit for the prom to participating other events like Relay For Life and Walk-a-Mile for a Child. They are always first to recognize those who stand out in our community so its time that they are recognized for all that they do for us. Thanks for all that you do for our youth, our citizens and our community as a whole. We would not be the same without you.
