Ida Mae Malone
April 23, 2007
Ida Mae Malone, 91, of Muscle Shoals, died April 23, 2007.
Funeral services were held April 25 at Akins Funeral Home Chapel in Russellville. Bro. Don McGuire officiated. Burial followed in Franklin Memory Gardens.
She was preceded in death by her parents James and Leona McMurray; her husband, Clifton Malone; husband, Coy Hodge; step-son, Kenneth Hodge; 5 brothers; 2 infant brothers; and 4 sisters.
Survivors include 2 stepdaughters, Pam Wellman (Jack) of St. Joseph, Tennessee, and Joyce Hendricks (Willie) of Tuscumbia; special nephew, Bill Thorn; and several nieces and nephews.
She was a native of Franklin County and was a member of Frankfort Road Church of Christ.
Akins Funeral Home assisted the family.
Erran Lucille Denton
April 25, 2007
Erran Lucille Denton, age 90 passed away on April 25, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband William Younger Denton, her son William Glenn Denton, her daughter Fannie Ganelle Donohue and her brother, Ethridge "Bill" Earl Robison.
She is survived by her daughters, Martha Lynn Denton of Little Rock, AR, Janice Ann Winslow, Birmingham, AL, and Marilyn Lee Royce, Los Angeles, CA.
She also is survived by her nieces Linda Diane Green, Susan Roxann Pounders, her nephew, Edward Earl Robison, 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Denton was born in Russellville, AL and lived most of her life in Mountain Home, AR. She was a homemaker, a talented painter, who liked to garden and sew.
A memorial service will be held at Knights of Pythias Cementery in Russellville, AL on May 5, 2007 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to a charity of your choice.
Earl Junior Lynn

Earl Junior Lynn, 79, of Lynn, died April 26, 2007 at his home.
Funeral services were held Saturday at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville. Bro. Mark Posey and Bro. Glenn Posey officiated. Burial followed at Lynn Cemetery in Lynn.
He was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Lestie Lynn and his brother J.L. Lynn.
Survivors include his wife Clezell Posey Lynn; sisters, Inez King, and Janie Hamrick, of Haleyville; brothers, Arbos Lynn, of Haleville, and Mack D. Lynn, of Michigan; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Before his retirement he was the owner of Lynn BP Service Station of Haleyville. He was a member of Natural Bridge Church of Christ.
Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville assisted the family.
