    Wilburn Kenneth Bradley, age 67, of Russellville, passed away Monday, March 26, 2007.
    Mr. Bradley was preceded in death by his parents, Otis and Evelyn Morrison Bradley.
    Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 29, 2007, at Emmaline Stutts Cemetery in Greenhill.
    Mr. Bradley is survived by his wife, Verna B. Taylor Bradley; his children, Richard Bradley and wife Mary Ann, Robert Bradley and Sarah Bradley; his step-children, Tom Hyde and wife Gwen, Harriett Williams and husband Larry, and Robert D. Hyde; a brother, Robbie Bradley and wife Sally; a sister, Jeanette Grossheim and husband Edwin; eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
    Helen H. Berry
    March 21, 2007
    Helen Humphries Berry, age 80, of Haleyville, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2007, at her residence.
    Mrs. Berry was born in Norcross, GA on August 23, 1926. She was a member of the Corinth Heights Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Berry; her parents, Homer and Cloe Humphries; and two sisters, Bertie (Ed) Atwood and Evelyn Humphries.
    Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 23, 2007, at Corinth Heights Baptist Church with T.B. Stringfellow and Ray Sutherland officiating. Interment was in the adjoining church cemetery.
    Mrs. Berry is survived by two children, Linda Fay Berry of Haleyville, and Tressa Wilson and husband Steve, of Haleyville; two sisters, Margaret Orr and husband Ernest, of Murrayville, GA, and Frances Mitchell and husband J.F., of Norcross, GA; three grandchildren, Michael Humphries, Carrie Davis and husband Tom, and Jason Wilson and wife Cyndi; and one great-grandchild, Eva Marie Davis.
    James C. Madden
    March 26, 2007
    James C. "J.C." Madden, age 66, of Russellville, passed away Monday, March 26, 2007, at Shoals Hospital.
    Mr. Madden lived most of his life in Franklin County and was a member of Duncan Creek Baptist Church. He was retired from Southern Paving, where he was co-owner. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clark and Hattie Madden; three brothers, Lester, Chester and Guy Madden; and a sister, Jannie Lou Staggs.
    Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 29, 2007, at Knights of Pythias Cemetery with Rev. Thomas Thornton officiating.
    Pallbearers were Danny Madden, Gary Madden, David Wayne Madden, Jimmy Clark Madden, Danny "Twice" Madden and Raymond M. Hayes, III.
    Mr. Madden is survived by his wife, Josephine Madden; a son, Anthony Madden and wife Kaye, of Russellville; two daughters, Kandie Richeson and husband Craig, of Russellville, and Julie Beard and husband Adam, of Russellville; three grandchildren, Justin Madden, Evan Richeson and Baby Beard; two step-grandchildren, Misty Riggs and April Hamm; three step-great-grandchildren, Stevie, Stuart and Blake Motes; and several nieces and nephews.
    Jerry K. Bohannan
    March 21, 2007
    Jerry Kenneth Bohannan, age 62, of Houston, AL, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2007.
    He was born March 19, 1945, in Stevenson, AL. He was a foreman at Grayson Lumber Corp. for 25 years. He was preceded in death by his mother, Oci'v Bohannan; his twin children, Anthony Wayne and Darrie Jeannie Bohannan; and a brother, J.C. Bohannan.
    Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 24, 2007, at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel with Randy Jones officiating. Interment was in Pisgah Cemetery in Houston.
    Mr. Bohannan is survived by his wife, Joan Bohannan; his children, Rhonda L. Franks and husband Tim, of Savannah, TN, Tammie R. Middleton of Lawrenceburg, TN, Neka McCarley and husband Brent, of Russelvlille, Chasidy Cagle of Houston, AL, and Megan E. Bohannan of Houston, AL; his father, Billy Lee Bohannan of Cullman; his sisters and brothers, JoAnn Garrison of Double Springs, Billy Ray Bohannan of Double Springs, Jackie Landers of Haleyville, Carolyn Shaddix of Double Springs, Tammy S. Cagle of Double Springs, Linda K. Hyche of Double Springs, and Benny K. Bohannan of Cullman; nine grandchildren, Jamie, Jason, Andrea, Justin, Kaselee, Tyler, Jasmine, Gage, Summer and Shiann; and two great-grandchildren, Caidan and Haylee.
    Ruth Trubie Frost
    March 21, 2007
    Ruth Trubie Frost, age 81, of Haleyville, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, March 21, 2007.
    Mrs. Frost was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Frost; her parents, Floyd and Ester Bailey; and her siblings, Fronie Dodd, Fremon Bailey, Aubie Bailey and Verbon Bailey.
    Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on Friday, March 23, 2007, at Pinkard Funeral Home with Hugh Cavender officiating. Interment was in Ephesus Cemetery in the Pebble Community.
    Mrs. Frost is survived by a daughter, Betty Jean Frost Rossi and husband Valman; two grandchildren, Bobby Taylor and wife Kim, and Karl Taylor; four great-grandchildren, Calvin, Emily, Kelsi and Karlie; and Jonna Taylor, the mother of Emily, Kelsi and Karlie.

    Nolan Hulsey, age 66, of Russellville, passed away Friday, March 23, 2007.
    Mr. Hulsey was preceded in death by his wife, Ella Mae Hulsey; and his parents, Joe Hulsey and Nellie Scott Hulsey.
    Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 26, 2007, at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Wayne Boyles officiating. Interment was in Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
    Mr. Hulsey is survived by his children, Chad Hulsey, Christopher Hulsey, Vince Hulsey, Judy Hulsey, Pam Herring, Steve Jackson and Debbie Barnes; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
    Johnny M. Ivey
    March 25, 2007
    Johnny Monroe "Ro-Ro" Ivey, age 67, of Red Bay, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2007, at Care Center of Red Bay.
    Mr. Ivey was born December 31, 1939, in Tishomingo County, MS to Arlin Lee "Pud" and Ivean Spencer Ivey. He was formerly an employee of Tiffins and Oakwood Mfg. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Tina Wooten and Eloise Hayes; and four brothers, Dorsey Ivey, William Ivey, Jimmy Dale Ivey and Wayne Ivey.
    Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 27, 2007, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Red Bay with Bro. Donnie Wooten and Bro. Robert Isaacs officiating. Interment was in Halltown Cemetery.
    Pallbearers were Dustin Farris, Ottis Boyd, Randall Hightower, Jimmy Shewbart, Johnny Hollingsworth and Jay Way. Honorary bearers were Brodi Pounds, Seth Morgan, Virgil Daily and Adam Henson.
    Mr. Ivey is survived by his wife of 25 years, Louise Ivey; one daughter, Jennifer Pounds and husband Kerry, of Dennis, MS; three grandchildren, Dustin Farris, Brodi Pounds and Laken Pounds, all of Dennis, MS; two brothers, Marcus Ivey and wife Shirley, of Belmont, MS, and Marshall Ivey of Brookhaven, MS; two sisters, Mildred Summerford of Haleyville and Rudy Welch and husband Johnny, of Dyersburg, TN; a brother-in-law, Donnie George and wife Melody, of Red Bay; and many nieces and nephews.
    Judge H. Mayo
    March 23, 2007
    Judge H. Mayo, age 84, of Red Bay, passed away Friday, March 23, 2007, at Red Bay Hospital.
    He was born December 29, 1922 in Guin to Brack and Maggie Dill Mayo. He served in the Merchant Marines as a Pumpman during World War II and was retired from LTV Steel Co. after 29 years of service. He was a member of the VFW and United Steelworkers of America. He worshipped at Cornerstone Church of God. He was preceded in death by his wife, Magdelene Moore Mayo; four brothers, John Mayo, James Mayo, Raymond Mayo and Neil Mayo; and his parents.
    Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 25, 2007, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Red Bay with Bro. Jerry Glenn officiating. Interment was in Ridge Cemetery.
    Pallbearers were Jim Lovette, Ray Shook, Stewart Ozbirn and Jimmy Woodall.
    Mr. Mayo is survived by three sons, Carlton Moore and wife Becky, of Decatur, Kelly Moore and wife Sally, of Red Bay, and Jerry Mayo of Indiana; his grandchildren, Michelle Woodall and husband Jimmy, of Nashville, TN, Heather Moore of Greensboro, NC, Shanna Ozbirn and husband Stewart, of Red Bay, and Jerry Mayo, Jr., Jacob Mayo and Caydee Mayo, all of Indiana; and his great-grandchildren, Keylee Moore and Kyndell Ozbirn, both of Red Bay, and Warren Woodall of Nashville.

    Mattie "Pat" Motes, age 57, of Spruce Pine, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2007.
    Mrs. Motes was a native of Spruce Pine and a member of the Baptist church. She was employed as a sewing machine operator. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Ruby Sumerel; and her husband of 34 years, James Ellis Motes, Sr.
    Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Akins Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Whitten officiating. Interment will be in Spruce Pine Cemetery.
    Pallbearers will be Mike Seals, James Motes, Jr., Josh Wilson, Zack Motes, Shane Motes and Mark Sartin.
    Mrs. Motes is survived by two sons, Mark Sartin and wife Robin, of Phil Campbell, and James Motes, Jr. and wife Tammy, of Phil Campbell; two daughters, Necole Seals and husband Michael, of Phil Campbell, and Margie Kinnard of Hatton; a brother, Edward Sumerel and wife Margaret, of Spruce Pine; and eight grandchildren, Joshua and Kimberly Seals, Jasmine and Christina Kinnard, and Ashley, Haley, Cheyenne and Dakota Sartin.
    Lois E. Oliver
    March 24, 2007
    Lois Ethel Oliver, age 90, of Russellville, passed away Saturday, March 24, 2007.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, William Harvey Oliver, Sr.; an infant son and sons William Harvey Oliver, Jr. and Jerry A. Oliver; her parents, Benton Townsend and Mary Robbins Townsend; and a grandson, Jeff Oliver.
    Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 25, 2007, at Bethlehem Baptist Church with Bro. Carl Gaston officiating. Interment was in the adjoining cemetery.
    Mrs. Oliver is survived by a daughter, Mary Jean Wells of Orlando, FL; three sons, Paul Oliver and wife Marcene, of Tuscumbia, Silas Oliver and wife Annette, of Russellville, and David Oliver of Spruce Pine; a sister, Jewel Bates; eleven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
    Donny P. Vandiver
    March 24, 2007
    Donny Paul Vandiver, age 54, of Phil Campbell, passed away Saturday, March 24, 2007.
    Mr. Vandiver was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Paul and Earline Garrison Vandiver.
    Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 29, 2007, at Gray Rock Cemetery with Rev. Sammy Taylor and Bro. Winford Hayes officiating.
    Pallbearers were Wayne Black, Gabriel Miller, Danny Smith, Vernon Young, Chris Timmons and Frank Stidham.
    Mr. Vandiver is survived by his wife, Deborah Miller Vandiver; three sons, Donnie Scott Vandiver, Matthew Hunter Vandiver and wife Brittney, and Andrew Vandiver; a daughter, Amanda Michelle Peppers and husband Jeremy; three grandchildren, Austin, Aubrey and Allison Vandiver; a brother, Gary Vandiver; a brother-in-law, Ronnie Miller and wife Lisa; two sisters-in-law, Dianne Glass, and Ladonna Saarrian and husband Jeff; three nephews, Trent Vandiver and wife Amy, Gabe Miller and Josh Miller; and a niece, Lori McDonnell and husband Samuel.
    The family extends a heartfelt thank you to Raymond and Hazel Miller for their loving support.

    Roy B. Wingo, age 73, of Spruce Pine, passed away Friday, March 23, 2007.
    Mr. Wingo was a native of Franklin County and a member of Quinn Church of Christ. He was retired from TVA and was a veteran of the Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bowser and Beulah Wingo; two sisters, Rachel Pounders and Gladys Hovater; and a brother, Jack Wingo.
    Funeral services were held at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 25, 2007, at Wingo Cemetery with Bro. Lonnie Oldag and Bro. Gene Graham officiating.
    Mr. Wingo is survived by his wife of 52 years, Vernell Wingo; his daughters, Denise Wingo and Carla Page Sims of Huntsville, Denell Clark and husband Don, of Russellville, and Vicki McAlister and husband Tony, of Spruce Pine; his boys, Will Wingo and wife Belinda, of Florence, and Robert Wingo and wife Tabitha, of Spruce Pine; three brothers, Ralph Wingo of Spruce Pine, Norris Wingo of Youngstown, OH, and Coy Wingo and wife Vernell, of Tuscumbia; his grandchildren, Kristie McAlister of Spruce Pine, Stephen McAlister of Spruce Pine, and Christian Givens, Callie Givens and Emily Givens, all of Florence; and his great-grandchildren, Dillan Wingo of Spruce Pine and Gracie Baker of Spruce Pine..

    Mrs. Woodward was a native of Russellville and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Emma Boston.
    Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, March 29, 2007, at Franklin Memory Gardens.
    Mrs. Woodward is survived by a son, Danny Woodward and wife Julie, of Russellville; a daughter, Sandy Lambert and husband Kenneth, of Lafayette, LA; three sisters, Joyce Allen and husband Ronnie, of Cleveland, OH, Bridgett Wilson and husband Bob, of Cleveland, OH, and Linda Brandgard and husband Bruce, of Cleveland, OH; and step-grandchild Oscar Corbell, Danny Woodward, Sr., and special friend Amanda Stokes.
