Price, Sharp

Jacque B. Sharp and Edwin D. Price, both of Meridian, were married Saturday, Aug. 21, 2004, at Christ Tabernacle with the Rev. Billie Tolbird officiating.
Parents of the couple are the late John C. and Pearl Cross Bates, and the late Jesse Dudley Price and Annie Buffkin Price.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Hazel Terry, pianist; and vocalist Crystal Duke, great-great-grand niece of the bride.
The bride was given in marriage by her grandson, David Mathena. She wore a white satin gown with a sweetheart neckline and cathedral-length train. The bodice featured long sleeves of lace appliques and pearls covering the front of the gown.
Judy McMullen of Meridian, daughter of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaid was Ashley Hanner of Dallas. Samantha McMullen of Meridian was junior bridesmaid.
Jerry Dean of Meridian was best man. Groomsmen was Michael McMullen of Meridian.
Program attendant was Patsy Swanner.
A reception was held at Western Sizzlin following the ceremony. Assisting at the reception were Patsy Swanner, Judy McMullen and Sabrina Jordan and the staff of the restaurant.
After a honeymoon in Price's Paradise Palace, the couple resides in Meridian.
