THURSDAY'S LATE GAMES: Lady Warriors win again

The East Central Community College Lady Warriors improved their record to 2-0 on Thursday with a 61-59 win over Holmes Community College.
Tierra Young paced the Lady Warriors' offense with a game-high 18 points, and Korteece Bender chipped in 15.

The Holmes men's team pulled out a three-point win in overtime against ECCC on Thursday. The two teams finished regulation tied at 82.
Kendal Granderson led Holmes' offense with 30 points, and Terrance Akins and Ron Vicker added 24 and 15, respectively.
Tawon Walker paced the Warriors' offense with 22 points, and Andrew Lewis and Garrick Nichols scored 19 and 12, respectively.

Olivia Reed scored a game-high 18 points to lead Macon Central Academy to victory over Kemper Academy on Thursday.
Jordan Taylor tallied nine points for Macon Central in the win.
Kasey Barns and Samantha Harpole each scored 11 for Kemper Academy.
