Harper, Shelton

Mr. and Mrs. John Harper Jr. of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Christy Leanne, to Jeremy Scot Shelton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Shelton and the late Peggy Jo Shelton of Meridian.
The wedding will be Saturday, Nov. 6, 2004, at 4 p.m. at Russell Baptist Church.
Miss Harper is the granddaughter of Joyce Smith of DeKalb, the late Jack and Margaret Smith of Meridian, and the late John Harper Sr. and Annie Bell Harper of Meridian.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Northeast Lauderdale High School and received a physical therapist assistant degree from Meridian Community College.
While attending MCC, she was a member of HOSA. Miss Harper is employed by DCH-Northport Medical Center.
Mr. Shelton is the grandson of Essie Mae Shelton and the late Joe Lindsey Shelton, and Lindsey and Mary Mundy, all of Meridian.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Southeast Lauderdale High School. He is employed by Dennis Riley Construction.
A reception will be held at the church family life center following the ceremony.
Family and friends are invited to attend.
