Retired owner of Cash and Carry Building Supply
Graveside services for Esther Myers Bass will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Magnolia Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Gill officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Bass, of Meridian, died Thursday, Oct. 21, 2004, in her home.
Survivors include her nieces, Inga Bass of Meridian, June Burrage of Picayune and Sandy Fleming of North Carolina; nephews, Don Siddons and Robert Siddons, both of Danville, Ill., and Joey Bass of Meridian; a sister-in-law, Elsie Bass of meridian; and several great nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Heartfelt Hospice/Meridian Outpatient Services, 500 Highway 39 North, Meridian, MS 39301, or to Poplar Springs Methodist Church.
Visitation will be held Sunday from 4 p.m.-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
Retired from U.S. Navy
Roscoe C. Jones, 74, of Meridian, died Monday, Oct. 17, 2004, at Rush Foundation Hospital. He was retired from the U.S. Navy. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Jaunita Jones; daughters, Lorie Smith and Jana Huckabee, both of Nevada; sister, Annie Holmes of Meridian; brothers, Robert E. Jones of Arizona and Eugene Jones of California; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Graveside services for R.C. Hamilton were held Friday at 2 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Allen Shortridge officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hamilton, 67, of Meridian, died Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2004, at Rush Foundation Hospital. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife, Florintina Hamilton of Cartegena, Spain; a daughter and a son; three grandchildren; a sister, Carlee Smith and her husband, Bobby, of Meridian; several nieces, nephews and special friends, Tresa Thrash and her husband, Bruce, of Cuba, Ala.

PHILADELPHIA Graveside services for Jean M. Adkison were held Friday at 5 p.m. at Eastlawn Cemetery with the Rev. Rick Holbert officiating. McClain-Hays Funeral Service was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Adkison, 68, of Philadelphia, died Thursday, Oct. 21, 2004, at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
Survivors include her daughters, Debbie Nicholson Hodges and Dawn Nicholson Baker, both of Philadelphia and Leah Adkison of Ridgeland; four grandchildren and a brother, Fred McEachin Jr. of Philadelphia.
Arrangements were incomplete at Barham Funeral Home for Pauline W. Hill, 84, of Meridian, who died Friday, Oct. 22, 2004, at Heartfelt Hospice.
NEWTON Arrangements were incomplete at James F. Webb Funeral Home for Kevin Dennis, 22, of Collinsville, who died Friday, Oct. 22, 2004.
Arrangements were incomplete at Clark's Memorial Funeral Home for Tom Cotton, 70, of Meridian, who died Friday, Oct. 22, 2004, at Specialty Hospital of Meridian.
