STONEWALL Although the traditional gift-giving season is two months away, visitors to Stonewall kindergarten's Fall Festival can bid on a few early gift prospects.
The event, set for Thursday from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. at Stonewall Town Hall, will feature an auction of products from local manufacturers Peavey Electronics Corp. and La-Z-Boy.
Angela Bedwell, a parent volunteer, recruited businesses to donate products and gift cards to raise money for the school.
Festival attendees can bid on a silver Peavey PV Jr. drum kit, a La-Z-Boy recliner or a ring courtesy of Silver Dollar Pawn. Wal-Mart and Garrett's have each donated $250 gift certificates, which will be raffled at $1 per ticket.
Bedwell said she expects 1,000 to 1,500 people to attend the festival which will include games for families, including a dart throw, football throw, fishing game and hay ride, as well as a cakewalk, toywalk and bingo for adults.
The festival is open to the public.
For more information, call Angela Bedwell at 659-3097.
