Taylor's terrific all-around performance on Friday helped the Red Devils keep their playoff hopes alive with a 33-13 victory over Shoals Christian. The 5-foot-10, 150-pound speedster got things rolling early by returning the opening kickoff 95 yards for a touchdown. He threw a 3-yard scoring pass to Ryan Umfress on fourth down for Vina's second touchdown, and his 78-yard run helped set up the Red Devils' third score. Taylor added two touchdown runs in the second half and finished with 111 yards on eight carries. He also broke up a key third-down pass to snuff out a Shoals Christian drive in the third quarter.
