EAST MISSISSIPPI BY THE NUMBERS: After being held to just one touchdown in its first two games, East Mississippi's offensive production improved against Itawamba Community College. The Lions put up 18 points in the loss to ICC.
MISSISSIPPI DELTA BY THE NUMBERS: Trojans head coach Jay Miller, in his second year, led Mississippi Delta to a 7-3 record in 2003 after the Trojans went 3-6 in 2002.
THE HISTORY: Mississippi Delta lost to Hinds Community College last year in the state semifinals.

ECCC BY THE NUMBERS: The Warriors are eighth in the state in total offense, averaging 286.7 yards per game. Of that total, 178.3 yards comes on the ground. EC is third in the state in total defense, allowing 214.3 yards per game.
PEARL RIVER BY THE NUMBERS: The Wildcats lead the state in scoring with 118 points and in total offense with 465 yards per game. PRCC is racking up 344.3 yards passing per contest.
LAST WEEK: ECCC defeated Southwest 17-6. Pearl River defeated Copiah-Lincoln 35-14.
SIGNIFICANCE: Both teams are 1-0 in the MACJC South Division.
HISTORY: The Wildcats cruised to a 35-6 win last year at Decatur. EC's last win in the series came in 2001 as the Warriors posted a 26-6 victory.
