BellSouth-Mississippi recovers from Ivan

BellSouth officials reported Friday that fewer than 10,000 customers remain affected by Hurricane Ivan.
Smith said that BellSouth technicians will continue working throughout the weekend to restore service to the remaining customers as quickly as possible.
Customers wishing to call BellSouth for repair service can use the following numbers:
Residential repair: If calling from a BellSouth telephone number, dial (877) 737-2478. If calling from a wireless telephone, a non-BellSouth telephone number, or outside Mississippi, dial (800) 427-4171.
Business repair: If calling from a BellSouth telephone number, dial (866) 620-6900. If calling from a wireless telephone, a non-BellSouth telephone number, or from outside Mississippi, dial (800) 252-0803.
