Storm Closings, Postponements

Meridian Public Schools: Classes are out at 1:30 p.m. today; school officials will decide today at noon whether to close schools Thursday.
Lauderdale County Schools: Classes are out at 1:30 p.m. today; schools will be closed Thursday.
Lamar School: Closes at 1 p.m. today and all day Thursday.
Mississippi State University-Meridian Campus: Closes at noon today and will reopen Monday.
Meridian Community College: Closes at noon today and will reopen Monday.
University of West Alabama: Closes at 12:05 p.m. today and will reopen at 8 a.m. Monday.
Jones County Junior College: Closes at noon today and will reopen Saturday.
Meridian/Lauderdale County Public Library: Closes at noon today and will remain closed Thursday.
High School football: Meridian High School's 7:30 p.m. Friday game against St. Martin postponed.
College football: The University of Southern Mississippi's Thursday night game against the University of California is postponed.
