PHILADELPHIA Services for William F. "Bill" Fulton Sr. will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Lynville United Methodist Church in Preston in Kemper County with the Revs. Steve Lampkin, Howard Carroll and Kenny McGill officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. McClain-Hays Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Fulton, 95, of Preston, died Sunday, Sept. 12, 2004, at Manhattan Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Jackson. He was a longtime resident of Preston. He was a farmer and a member of Lynville United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his sons, W.F. Fulton Jr. and his wife, Lorene, of Brandon and Jerry Fulton and his wife, Delores, of Yazoo City; grandchildren, Teresa Ireland and her husband, Kevin, of Meridian, Christy Posey and her husband, Keith, of Canton, Ga., William F. Fulton III and his wife, Susan, of Jackson, Julie Fulton of Clinton, Susan Fulton and Jenny Fulton, both of Yazoo City; great-grandchildren, Lindsay and Olivia Ireland, both of Meridian, Sam and Grayson Fulton, both of Jackson, and Lauren Posey of Canton; sisters, Bessie Allen of Philadelphia and Ruby Luke of Preston.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
SEBASTOPOL Services for Windell Jefferson Sr. will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at St. Catherine Catholic Church with the Rev. David Hamm officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Milling Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Jefferson, 43, of Philadelphia, died Saturday, Sept. 11, 2004, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife, Diane Jefferson; a daughter, Chrisanda Jefferson; a son, Windell Jefferson Jr., all of Philadelphia; his father, Grady Jefferson; a sister, Rena Jefferson; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Claudine Dixon; and a brother, Winfred Jefferson.

PHILADELPHIA Services for Dr. Charles Cannon will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. Fransis of Assisi Episcopal Church with the Rev. Harriet Simmons officiating. McClain-Hays Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
Dr. Cannon, 80, of Philadelphia, died Saturday, Sept. 11, 2004, at Neshoba County General Hospital in Philadelphia.
He was born in Neshoba County on June 12, 1924, the son of H.Z. and Ora Cannon. He graduated from Linwood High School in 1942. He joined the U.S. Army Air Force just after graduation and served for two years. After spending the war years in England and Miami Beach, he attended East Central Junior College in Decatur for two years. He received his bachelor's of science degree from Mississippi Southern in 1950. He earned his master's of school administration from Mississippi Southern in 1952. He taught school for five years before deciding to enter medical school. He received his medical degree from the University of Mississippi Medical School in 1961. He went to Duval Medical Center in Jacksonville, Fla., for a one-year internship and two years residency in surgery. In March 1964, Dr. Cannon moved to Folkston, Ga., where he served as a physician until returning in January 1970 to Philadelphia to continue his medical practice.
He was a member of the American Medical Association, the Georgia Medical Association, the Florida Medical Association and the Mississippi Medical Association. Dr. Cannon served one year as president of the Neshoba County Medical Society. He was also a member of the East Mississippi Medical Society and an active member of St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church where he served formerly as Junior Warden.
Survivors include his wife, Pat Cannon of Philadelphia; sons, Dr. Ron Cannon and his wife, Sharon, of Brandon, Mark Charles Cannon and his wife, Sheila, and Joshua Charles Cannon, all of Philadelphia; daughters, Marsha Cannon of Georgia, Candayce Valerio and Juliann Cannon, both of Jacksonville, Fla.; grandsons, Ron Jr., Cory, Rob and Phillip; granddaughters, Capalyn, Graison and Caitlan; a sister, Imogene Ladd of Philadelphia; and a brother, Harold Cannon of Philadelphia.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Arrangements were incomplete at Barham Funeral Home for John H. "Jack" Stuart, 84, of Meridian, who died Sunday, Sept. 12, 2004, at Riley Hospital.

Arrangements were incomplete at Barham Funeral Home for David Ingram, 41, of Meridian, who died Saturday, Sept. 11, 2004, at Guardian Angel Hospice.
