Jones, Thrash

Donald and Linda Jones of Chunky announce the engagement of their daughter, Candi Leigh, to Ronnie Gallaspy Thrash Jr., the son of Ronnie and Mary Ann Thrash Sr. of Newton.
The wedding will be Saturday, Sept. 25, 2004, at 2 p.m. at Chunky Baptist Church.
Miss Jones is the granddaughter of Dorothy Clark of Sebastopol and the late Frank Clark, and Frances Jones of Hickory and the late Arnold Jones.
The bride-elect is an honor graduate of Lamar High School and received her associate's degree in nursing from the University of West Alabama. She is a registered nurse at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Thrash is the grandson of the late Maurice and Elizabeth Robelot, and the late John T. and Evelyn Thrash, all of Newton.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Newton County Academy. He received an associate's degree from East Central Community College and a bachelor's degree from Mississippi State University.
Mr. Thrash is an aircraft mechanic/inspector with the Mississippi Air National Guard 186th Air Refueling Wing.
A reception will be held in the church family life building following the ceremony.
Family and friends are invited to attend.
