Body found at Village Apartments

Lauderdale County Coroner Clayton Cobler is awaiting autopsy results on the body of a 23-year-old white man found Friday at the Village Apartments on Highway 19 North. Cobler would not release the man's name.
Cobler said apartment management discovered the body at about 1:15 p.m. Friday. The victim was last seen on Monday, and there was no sign of forced entry into his apartment, he said.
The body was sent to the Mississippi Mortuary in Pearl, and Cobler said he may know the cause of death later today.
