QUITMAN Services for Merna Ree Turner will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Faith Tabernacle Church with the Revs. Ronnie Adams and Maxine Turner officiating. Burial will be in Brightwater Cemetery. Wright's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Turner, 76, of Quitman, died Monday, Sept. 6, 2004, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include her husband, Martin R. Turner of Quitman; a son, Marvin Reese Turner of Gilbertown, Ala.; daughters, Darlene Breeland of Collinsville and Rebecca Cooper of Columbus; a brother, Thomas Fagan of Durant, Okla.; a sister, Beatrice Nix of Melvin, Ala.; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren, special friends and members of Faith Tabernacle Church.
She was preceded in death by a son, Joseph M. Turner; a daughter, Elizabeth D. Turner; parents, Arthur Neal Fagan and Nora Elizabeth Fagan; and a brother, Hilton Fagan.
Pallbearers will be Randy Turner, Randy Aiken, Johnny Jackson, Mike Faircloth, Kenny Nix and Steve Satterfield.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the church and Wednesday beginning at 9 a.m. until service time at the church.

Graveside services for Bernice B. Dennis will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Magnolia Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. Tom Sikes officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Dennis, 95, of Meridian, died Saturday, Sept. 4, 2004, at Guardian Angel Hospice.
Survivors include her son, James Dennis and his wife, Carole, of Meridian; a grandson, Steve Dennis and his wife, Dee; and great-grandchildren, Hannah, David and Holly.
She was preceded in death by her husband, E.M. "Mac" Dennis.
Memorials may be made to First Christian Church.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 1:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Graveside services for George Powe Jr. will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery with the Revs. Sephus Garrett and Dale Poole officiating. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Powe, 63, of the Dalewood Community, died Saturday, Sept. 4, 2004, in Lauderdale County.
Visitation will be Friday from noon-2 p.m. at the funeral home.
North Mississippi Medical Center employee
Services for Bobby Rawls were held Monday at 11:30 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home chapel with the Revs. Steve Winstead and Dr. Malcolm Lewis officiating. Burial was in Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Rawls, 43, of Tupelo, died Friday, Sept. 3, 2004, in Tupelo.
Survivors include his parents, Bob and Dot Rawls of Meridian; a sister, Rhonda Moore and her husband, Vance, of Meridian; nephews, Crawford Moore and Christian Moore; a companion of 18 years, Virginia Yoe of Tupelo; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Roger Rawls and Lena Rawls; and his maternal grandparents, Ernest Crawford and Irene Crawford.
Pallbearers were Gary Newell, Jeff Newell, Greg Crawford, Scott Jay, Hal Herrington, Tony Herrington and Bernie Herrington.
Arrangements were incomplete at James F. Webb Funeral Home for Larry L. Bane, 53, of Marion, died Monday, Sept. 6, 2004, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Arrangements were incomplete at Enterprise Funeral Home for Mary Alice Hall, of Meridian, who died Sunday, Sept. 5, 2004, in Meridian.
Arrangements were incomplete at Stephens Funeral Home for Elsie Jenkins, 82, of Southaven, who died Monday, Sept. 6, 2004, at Baptist Hospital in Southaven.
