The West Lauderdale Lady Knights remained undefeated with a 5-1 win over Quitman Saturday night.
West had nine hits, while the Lady Panthers had seven.
Kayla Eubanks had a single and a triple for West. Sommer Jones had a single and a double, while Ashley Helms had a two-run single.
West committed no errors. The Lady Knights have only one error in their last three games.
Quitman got a pair of singles from Constance Jones.
West, now 11-0, plays at Carthage on Tuesday.

Northeast Lauderdale 2
Clarkdale's Ashley Bye went 4-for-4 with a double to lead the Lady Bulldogs past Northeast Saturday night.
Whitney Drachenberg was 2-for-3 with two RBIs for Clarkdale. Tessa Gamble was 2-for-2 with two RBIs. Chassidy Roberts and Lauren Robinson both had two hits.
Northeast got two hits each from Mallori Pace and Shelly Odom.
Clarkdale, 12-1, had 14 hits to nine for Northeast. Both teams committed three errors.

The surprising Wildcats of Kemper County High School have jumped out to a 2-0 start to the 2004 football season behind an 8-6 road win on Friday night.
Cyril Edwards scored on a 3-yard run in the first quarter and Jevirous Prince ran in the two-point conversion to put Kemper County up 8-0 in the first quarter.
Bryan Anderson scored on a 2-yard run in the third quarter for Choctaw central. The two-point conversion attempt failed.
Kemper County plays host to Heidelberg High School on Friday.

The homestanding Vikings defeated Heidelberg in a district game to improve to 2-1 overall and 1-0 in Academy 5-A.
Ross Brown completed 5-of-9 passes for 103 yards and three touchdowns and ran for two touchdowns to lead Central.
Will Thames ran 65 and 19 yards for scores plus threw a touchdown pass to Mark Smith to lead Heidelberg in the loss. After Thames' 65-yard gallop in the first quarter, the Vikings pulled to within 7-6 on a 61-yard pass from Brown to Tony Sudduth.
The teams combined for six touchdowns in the second quarter with Central getting four to take a 34-20 lead into halftime.
Brown teamed with Hunter Brown on an 81-yard scoring toss and ran for a 2-yard score. Cody Boykin picked off a Rebel pass and returned it 40 yards for a touchdown.
Brown also connected with Sudduth on a 2-yard scoring toss. Brown ran in a two-point conversion and threw another to Sudduth.
Thames scored on a 14-yard run and an 11-yard pass to Bradley Harper in the period for HA.
Justin Gibbs scored on a 9-yard run for HA in the third quarter as the Rebels closed to within 34-28 following a successful two-point conversion.
Ross Brown tallied on a 2-yard run with Matt Persons' PAT putting CA up 41-28.
The final touchdown came on a 2-yard pass from Thames to Smith. Neither team scored in the fourth quarter.

Sumter Academy 7
Homestanding Southern Academy rolled up 609 yards of total offense, including a 220-yard, five-touchdown rushing night by Erik Montz.
Montz, who carried the ball only 12 times, had touchdown runs of 45, 2, 65, 46 and 3 yards.
Chad Bryan scored the lone Sumter Academy touchdown on a 90-yard kickoff return in the second quarter.
Sumter Academy plays host to Marion Military Institute on Friday night.

Bay Springs 0
The Northeast Jones Tigers blanked the Bay Springs Bulldogs Friday night 17-0 behind the stellar play of the Tiger defense. Northeast could only manage a safety in the opening period and another in the third period to lead 4-0 going into the final period. Bay Springs snapped the ball over their punter's head twice. The ball rolled out of back of the end zone to produce both safeties.

In the final period, starting tailback Alexis Keller ran three yards for a touchdown. The pass on the two-point conversion attempt was incomplete.
The final score came when senior fullback Brandon Keyes ran 15 yards for a TD. Nathan Harrison kicked the conversion for the final points.

Vicksburg 19
Brookhaven 13
Chavous McWhorters had a pair of 1-yard touchdown runs, the second in overtime, to help unranked Vicksburg to a 19-13 upset of No. 4 Brookhaven.
Vicksburg (1-1) claimed its second straight overtime win against the Panthers it won in triple overtime last season at Brookhaven and handed the first loss this year to a team ranked in the Associated Press top 5.
Brookhaven (1-1) had 171 yards of total offense in the second half, and Ronnie McNulty rushed for 156 yards and two touchdowns on 16 carries. The Panthers were hurt by 76 yards in penalties, however, and a Vicksburg defense that stiffened whenever Brookhaven started to put together a drive.
Vicksburg's defense also forced two turnovers, including a fumble that was returned 55 yards for a score by Justin Wells to give VHS a 13-0 halftime lead.

Collins (2-0) scored three touchdowns in the first half and held Greene County (0-2) to just 35 yards of total offense in the second half.

George County 21
Ninth-ranked George County, which sprung an upset on Greene County last week, was knocked off Friday night, 41-21 by No. 20 Gulfport.
George County (1-1) vaulted into the polls a week ago after shocking Greene County.
But this time, Gulfport led 22-7 at halftime and held on for the victory, its second of the season.
Greg Anderson threw touchdown passes to Ricardo Bolton and Antonio Alexis for Gulfport. Alec Banks also returned an interception 10 yards for a touchdown.

McComb turned the ball over eight times and No. 12 Warren Central scored on five of those turnovers enroute to a 29-0 victory.
Warren Central improved to 2-0, while McComb fell to 0-2.
Warren Central running back Larry Warner carried 13 times for 107 yards and a touchdown. Warner scored from 11 yards out in the third quarter for a 22-0 lead.
Warren Central defensive back Otis Stamps returned an interception in the fourth quarter 101 yards for a touchdown.

Magee 0
Quarterback Warren Herrington threw two touchdown passes to lead No. 6 West Jones to a 31-0 victory over Magee.
The Mustangs (2-0) also scored on a 31-yard touchdown pass from punter Brandon Hunt to Archie Sims on a fake punt. Running back Justin Young scored on a 49-yard run and Zack Adams had a 19-yard field goal and was 4-for-4 on extra points.
Magee fell to 1-1.
