Services for Irving J. Eadie will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Clark's Memorial Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. James Granger officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery in Kewanee.
Mr. Eadie, 49, of Meridian, died Saturday, July 31, 2004, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Carmelita Eadie of New Orleans; sons, Sgt. Irvin Eadie of Baghdad and Eugene Eadie of Meridian; daughters, Kisha Eadie of Meridian and Shea Eadie of Sandusky, Ohio; a sister, Jacqueline Eadie Newell and her husband, Judge, of Meridian; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Nisher Eadie.
Visitation will be held today from 7 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Services for Will Smith will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Salem Baptist Church in Paulding with the Rev. Marvin Brown officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Clark's Memorial Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Smith, 50, of Shubuta, died Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2004, in Providence Hospital in Mobile, Ala. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife, Lynn Smith of Mobile, Ala.; a son, Will H. Smith Jr. of Connecticut; sisters, Sherrie Smith Jones of Mobile, Ala., and Annie Ruth Smith Strickland of Vossburg; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ruth Smith.
Visitation will be held today from 4 p.m.-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
PHILADELPHIA Services for John H. "Jack" Dove will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at McClain- Hayes Funeral Service chapel with the Rev. C.J. Myers officiating. Burial will be in High Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Dove, 75, of Union, died Thursday, Aug. 5, 2004, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. He was a drywall contractor. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and served in Korea.
Survivors include his son, Jacky Dove of Philadelphia; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a special friend, Arnell Jenkins of Union; and a brother, Marzine Dove of Clinton.
Visitation will be held today from 5 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Services for Michael Thomas Wilkinson will be held Saturday at Carmel Baptist Church in Meridian at 3 p.m. A funeral service was also held Wednesday at the Chapel of Collison's Howell Branch Funeral Home in Winter Park, Fla.
Mr. Wilkinson, 37, of Winter Park, died Monday, Aug. 2, 2004, in Winter Park. He worked in wholesales.
Survivors include his fiance, Yanzza Helin; a son, Caleb E. Wilkinson of Winter Park; his parents, J.T. and Beth Wilkinson of Winter Park, formerly of Meridian; brothers Leslie T. Wilkinson of Winter Park and Phillip S. Wilkinson of Naples, Fla.; a sister, Gina E. Smith of Ackworth, Ga.; maternal grandmother Elizabeth H. Gower of Winter Park; uncles, Tim Gower and Donald Gower; and aunts, Janell McMullen of Meridian and Sandra Vick of Bailey.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thornell and Edna Wilkinson and Tommy Gower, all of Meridian, and his uncles Blake Wilkinson and Samuel Wilkinson.
PHILADELPHIA Services for Alma Geneva Fryery will be held Saturday at 4 p.m. at McClain-Hayes Funeral Service chapel with the Rev. Byron Howell officiating. Burial will be in Madden Cemetery in Leake County.
Ms. Fryery, 90, of Madden, died Thursday, Aug. 5, 2004, at Hospice in His Hands in Leake County.
Survivors include her daughters, Bobbie F. Nasif of Vicksburg, Cherry F. Garrison of Lexington and Joty F. Sickles of Peachtree City, Ga.; sons, Frank Basil Fryery of Lecompte, La., Gary Fryery of Aberdeen and Ronald Fryery of Madden; 18 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Nettie Ford of Vicksburg.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Newt B. Fryery; and her daughter, Shirley Ann Fryery.
Visitation will be held today from 4 p.m.-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
Services for Olliee D. Robinson will be held Sunday at 11:45 a.m. at Ephesus Seventh Day Adventist Church with the Rev. Michael Holland officiating. Burial will be in St. Luke Cemetery in Porterville with Berry &Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Robinson, 63, of Meridian, died Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2004, at Veterans Administration Hospital in Decatur, Ga.
Survivors include his wife, Hortense Robinson; children, Janet Robinson, Rose Mary Hyman, Linda Hopson, Karen Jean Maric, Samuel Robinson and Olliee Robinson; a stepson, Angelo Reid; his mother, Mattie L. Roberson; and brothers, George Robinson/Roberson, John Robinson/Roberson, Jessie Robinson/Roberson, Charles Robinson/Roberson, Kevin Robinson/Roberson; sisters, Beverly Pilgram, Deloris Graham and Gloria Camacho; and several grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Saturday from 8 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Services for Olivia Hunt will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Little Zion Baptist Church in Collinsville with the Rev. Charlie Watson officiating. Burial will be in Little Zion Cemetery with Berry &Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Hunt, 92, of Collinsville, died Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2004, at Riley Hospital.
Survivors include daughters, Geraldine Cox and Mary James, both of Collinsville, and Jean Luckett of Daleville; a son, Jessie Hunt of Collinsville; and stepchildren, Dorothy Altman of Collinsville; Mary L. Cole of Chicago, Juanita Williams of Tampa, Fla. and Willie J. Hunt of Miami, Fla.; and 34 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Isaac Hunt, and her husband, Joe W. Hunt.
Visitation will be held Saturday from 5 p.m.-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
Services for Kenneth Hill will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Mt. Cephus Primitive Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Berry &Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hill, 38, of Lauderdale, died, Monday, Aug. 2, 2004, in his home.
Survivors include his sisters, Sandra Pringle of Meridian and Earnestine McClendon of Lauderdale; and brothers, Johnny R. Hill of Meridian, Robert Hill Jr., David Hill and Henry Adams Hill, all of Lauderdale.
Visitation will be held Saturday from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Arrangements were incomplete at Barham Funeral Home for Logan Riley Vigg of Meridian, who died Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2004, at Riley Hospital.
Arrangements were incomplete at James F. Webb Funeral Home for Sam Stephens, 92, of Kosciusko, who died Thursday, Aug. 5, 2004.
Arrangements were incomplete at Berry &Gardner Funeral Home for Anna Pringle of Meridian, who died Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2004, at Guardian Angel Hospice.
