JACKSON Services for Mary Louise Ford Presson were held Saturday morning at the Hospice Ministries Chapel in Ridgeland. Mark Seepe Funeral Home and Crematorium was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Presson, 69, of Jackson, died Monday, July 19, 2004, at Hospice Ministries. Survivors include a son, William Russell Presson of Jackson; a brother-in-law, Alvin Greer; a sister-in-law, Jean Ford, both of Jackson; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Ministries, 450 Towne Center Blvd., Ridgeland, MS 39157; the Jackson/Hinds Library System, 300 North State St., Jackson, MS 39201; or the Mississippi Food Network, P.O. Box 411, Jackson, MS 39205.
MILLRY, Ala. Services for Julia Louise Dempsey Pritchard will be held today at 2 p.m. at Three Forks Baptist Church with the Revs. John Pritchard and Jimmy Butts officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Phillips Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Pritchard, 86, of Frankville, died Friday, July 23, 2004, in her home.
Survivors include her son, John Pritchard of Gilbertown; daughters, Rosa Moseley of Leroy and Jackie Utsey of Silas; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Pritchard, and a brother, E.L. Dempsey.
The family requests memorials be made to Judy Hall at the Alabama Baptist Children's Home, P.O. Box 361767, Birmingham, AL 35236-1767.
SEBASTOPOL Services for Clayton D. Thrash will be held today at 2 p.m. at Milling Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Larry Duncan and Hilton Moore officiating. Burial will be in Prospect Cemetery.
Mr. Thrash, 83, of Walnut Grove, died Friday, July 23, 2004, in his home.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Sallie Thrash; a daughter, Darlene Jordan and her husband, Jimmy; sons, Larry D. Thrash and his wife, Bobbie, and Kenneth Thrash and his wife, Patricia, all of Walnut Grove; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Peggy Lanell Thrash.

WAYNESBORO Services for Velma Patrick Hoffman will be held today at 4 p.m. at Freeman Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Phillip A. Gandy and Dr. Andy Olson officiating. Burial will be in Tom Mills Cemetery.
Ms. Hoffman, 79, of Waynesboro, died Friday, July 23, 2004, in her home.
Survivors include her daughter, Betty Busby, and her husband, Thomas, of Waynesboro; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister-in-law, Lizzie Patrick of Eight-Mile, Ala.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James A. Patrick and Ora Garrett.
