QUITMAN Graveside services for Eloise Smith Moseley will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at Antioch Cemetery with the Rev. Grady Crowell officiating. Wright's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Moseley, 67, of Meridian, died Saturday, July 17, 2004, in her home.
Survivors include her sons, Alan Moseley of Jamestown, N.C. and Vick Moseley of the Phillipines; daughters, Karen Ellington of Houston, Texas and Crystal Link of Dallas; grandchildren, Trevor Mullins of Jamestown, N.C., Trey Ellington and Victoria Ellington, both of Houston, Texas, Laurel Link and Collin Link, both of Dallas, Alan Moseley and Brent Moseley, both of Phillipines.
Visitation will be today from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
YORK, Ala. Services for John Watson Land will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Bumpers Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Michael Gibson and Candace McKibben officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Land, 88, of Toomsuba, died Tuesday, July 20, 2004, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Culpepper Land of Toomsuba; a brother, Martin Land of Birmingham, Ala.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Johnny Land.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Services for Gus House will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ondray Harris officiating. Burial will be in Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. House, 82, of Meridian, died Monday, July 19, 2004, at Riley Nursing Center.
Survivors include his daughter, Norma Pruitt of Meridian and one grandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be Thursday 6 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
DEKALB Services for Lyvonia Hopkins will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at New Bethlehem United Methodist Church in DeKalb with the Rev. Bennie Pollock officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. E.E. McDonald Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Hopkins, 85, of DeKalb, died Thursday, July 15, 2004, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include her son, Charles "Junior Boy/Yu Ya" Naylor Jr. of Killeen, Texas; three grandchildren; sisters, Lois Wiggin of Kansas City, Mo. and Ruth Clay Holton of Meridian and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by two husbands and four siblings.
Visitation will Friday 5 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Arrangements were incomplete at Barham Funeral Home for Betty Martin Burns, 75, of Meridian, who died Wednesday, July 21, 2004, in her home.
Arrangements were incomplete at James F. Webb Funeral Home for Anita Ivy, 77, of Meridian, who died Wednesday, July 21, 2004, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Arrangements were incomplete at E.E. McDonald Funeral Home for Niki Cosandra Hill, 29, of Shuqualak, who died Monday, July 19, 2004, in Neshoba County.
Arrangements were incomplete at James F. Webb Funeral Home of Newton for Elnora J. Hillhouse, 67, of Newton, who died Wednesday, July 21, 2004, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
