    Services for Audra Gay "Cookie" Bosarge will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Roy Hurst, Audra's godfather, officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
    Ms. Bosarge, 37, of Meridian, died Sunday, June 13, 2004, in San Clemente, Calf. She was killed in California while helping victims of an automobile accident. She and her family were visiting her brother, U.S. Marine Master Sgt. Stuart Bosarge Jr. before his deployment to Iraq. She was a member of Meridian Bible Church, a graduate of the Mississippi University for Women and a member of numerous organizations including the Meridian Little Theatre, the MUW's Black List Social Club and Organ Donors of America. She was employed by Georgia Pacific. She had previously driven an 18-wheeler for
    Bigbee Transportation. She represented the state of Mississippi in the 1982 National Junior Olympics held in South Bend, Ind., when she was 15. She placed fifth in the shot put and ninth in the discus nationwide.
    Survivors include her mother, Regina Duncan Bosarge and her husband, Donald Thompson, of Wahalak; her father, Stuart Bosarge Sr. and his wife, Debbie, of Baton Rouge, La.; brother, Master Sgt. Stuart Bosarge Jr. and his wife, Liz, of Oceanside, Calif.; sister, Angela Myers and her husband, Tim, of Meridian; nieces, Tiffany Bosarge, Harley Myers and Hayden Myers; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A.J. Duncan of Philadelphia; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends.
    She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. V.E. Bosarge Sr.; and a brother, Jay Duncan "J.D." Bosarge.
    The family requests memorials be made to Meridian Bible Church, Care Lodge or Mississippi University for Women.
    Visitation will be held today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
    MOBILE, Ala. Services for Jimmy Lamar Alawine Sr. will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home chapel. Burial will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
    Mr. Alawine, of Mobile, formerly of Meridian, died Wednesday, June 16, 2004, in Mobile.
    Survivors include his wife, Jeanette Miller Alawine; children, Jeffrey Alawine, Tammy Alawine Merrill, Robert "Robbie" Alawine; his former wife, Jean Alawine and their children, Bo Alawine, Chris Alawine and Shannon Alawine; sisters, Carol Alawine Sessums and Sheila Alawine Thead; brothers, Robert D. Alawine and Ronald J. Alawine; eight grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jeannie Alawine.
    Visitation will be held today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
    SEBASTOPOL Services for Henry Farmer will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church in Union with the Rev. Emmett Denson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
    Mr. Farmer, 92, died Wednesday, June 16, 2004, at Choctaw Residential Center.
    Survivors include a son, Arthur Lee Farmer; seven grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
    He was preceded in death by his wife, Maggie Farmer; and a son, Simmon Farmer.
    Retired
    Graveside services for Leon D. Richardson will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Pine Springs Southern Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. John Sweeney officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Richardson, 85, of Union, died Tuesday, June 8, 2004, in Union. He was retired from Sci-Tech Industries.
    Survivors include her daughters, Elizabeth Ann Reid of Union and Dorothy Deloris Richardson of Arkansas; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren; a brother, William Robert Richardson of Washington and several nieces and nephews.
    Retired truck driver
    Graveside services for William Harold Purvis were held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Cokers Chapel Cemetery with the Rev. Daniel Chisholm officiating. Barham Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Purvis, 70, of Meridian, died Thursday, June 10, 2004, in Meridian. He was a member of Central Baptist Church and retired from Roadway Trucking.
    Survivors include his son, William Terry Purvis of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands; and a sister, Imogene Eddins and her husband, Thomas, of Demopolis, Ala.
    He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Purvis.
    Arrangements were incomplete at Barham Funeral Home for Bertha Gaskins, 78, of Meridian, who died Thursday, June 17, 2004, in Meridian.
    Arrangements were incomplete at Barham Funeral Home for Annie Mae Thompson, 93, of Meridian, who died Thursday, June 17, 2004, at Riley Hospital.
