Heart-N-Soul program focuses on cardiovascular disease in women

Rush Foundation Hospital's cardiovascular surgeon Dr. Dan Van Cleve will be the guest speaker at the Heart-N-Soul for Women event at Weidmann's Restaurant on Thursday.
The program will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will be used to spread the word about the dangers of cardiovascular disease in women. It will include a fashion show by Rhonda's Connection and a heart-healthy meal.
The event is sponsored by Rush Foundation Hospital and the American Heart Association. An executive committee and community members who raised money for the American Heart Association's education fund also will be honored during the event.
