Cochran selects new press secretary

Washington D.C. n U.S. Sen. Thad Cochran, R-Miss., announced today that longtime press secretary Beth Day will leave his Washington staff on May 31 to spend more time with her family.
Cochran has selected Keith Williams, the senator's Agriculture Committee communications director, as his new press secretary.
Williams has worked as a press secretary in Congress for the past 14 years. He has also been a reporter for radio, television and newspapers in the past 10 years. Marie Thomas will continue to serve as assistant to the press secretary.
