UNION Services for John Amos McElhenney will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Mt. Zion Congregational Methodist Church with the Rev. Todd Thompson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Milling Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. McElhenney, 64, of Decatur, died Sunday, May 9, 2004, in his home.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred McElhenney of Decatur; sons, Ray McElhenney and Ricky McElhenney, both of Decatur; brothers, Nemus McElhenney and Granville McElhenney, both of Decatur; grandchildren, Christy McElhenney of Nashville, Tenn., Mitchell McElhenney and Megan McElhenney, both of Decatur.
Pallbearers will be Eddie Stamper, Allen Terrell, Jeff Addy, Jake Addy, Charles Moulds, Tony Addy, and Mickey Addy.
GILBERTOWN, Ala. Services for Robert Lee Boykin will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Fred Wiley and Lester Pope officiating. Burial will be in Brightwater Cemetery.
Mr. Boykin, 86, of Gilbertown, died Sunday, May 9, 2004, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include his sons, Danewood Boykin and Dennis Boykin, both of Gilbertown, Robert Boykin of Butler, James Boykin, of Grove Hill, Johnny Boykin and Ronnie Boykin, both of Jackson, and Connie Boykin, of Silas; daughters, Glenda Faye Huckabee of Jackson, Katie Merle Faile of Demopolis and Brenda Carpenter, of Millry; brothers, Charlie Boykin of Butler and Ernest Boykin of Mobile; sisters, Rachel Morton of Orlando, Fla. and Vernice Johnson of Mobile; 28 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be today 6 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for William Everett Harper will be held Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Nolan Butler officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Harper, 91, of Russell, died Sunday, May 9, 2004, in his home. He was former owner of Industrial Plumbing and Heating Company.
Survivors include his daughter, Faye Lundberg and her husband, Dick, of Russell; sons, Billy Harper and his wife, Diane, and David Harper and his wife, Mary Jo, all of Russell and Doug Harper of Marion; his lifelong friend, Marie Carlisle of the Vimville Community; 11 granddaughters and 24 great-grandchildren; sisters, Orina Rawson of Bonita, Louise Snowden of Meridian, and Margaruite Goodman of Marion; a sister-in-law, Kathy Harper of Bonita and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife of more than 50 years, Mildred C. Harper; his son, Bobby Harper; a brother, Melvin Harper and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. B.B. Harper.
Pallbearers will be Joe Price, Kyle Covington, Allen Webb, Josh Gingell, Frank Rader, Wayne Rainer, Kevin Hedgepeth and Eric Bratu. Honorary pallbearers will be Ed Smith and Wayne Stokes.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

PHILADELPHIA Graveside services for Vallie Belle Glenn will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Earnest United Methodist Church Cemetery. McClain-Hays Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Glenn, 77, of Philadelphia, died Sunday, May 9, 2004, in her home. She was born and raised in Jefferson County, Ala. and made her home in Philadelphia for the past 12 years. She attended Beatline Baptist Church in Neshoba County.
Survivors include her daughter, Joan Pilgrim; grandsons, Kevin Jones and his fiance, Jyssica Sarago, and Jason Jones, all of Philadelphia; six nieces and two nephews; a sister-in-law, Marilyn Wood of Minneapolis and Helen Wood of Eufala, Ala.

YORK, Ala. Graveside services for Carson Eugene Carney will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Cokes Chapel Cemetery with the Rev. Kenneth Fuller officiating. Bumpers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Carney, 77, of York, died Monday, May 10, 2004, at Rush Foundation Hospital. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Glendalynn M. Carney of York; sons, Donald E. Carney and Robert Glen Carney, both of York, Jimmy Wayne Carney of Ackerman, Miss., Carson Lee Carney of Franklin, Ga., H. Paul Carney of Philadelphia, Miss. and Robert Earl Carney of Russell; daughters, Jeannie Hines, of Toxey, Janice Carney of Georgia, Sandy Carney Wade of Centreville, and Terry Carney Cox of DeKalb, Miss.; a brother, Johnny Frank Carney of Cuba, and sisters, Mardis Jones of Meridian, Miss., Vonnie Givens of Magnolia, Miss., Betty Moore of Union, Miss., and Brenda Tessier of DeKalb; 31 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today 7 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Arrangements were incomplete at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home for Mackie Lee Jordan, 83, of Meridian, who died Sunday, May 9, 2004, in Hattiesburg.
