EUPORA Services for Barbara "Bobbie" Orr will be held today at 3 p.m. at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. J.B. Rowe officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery in Choctaw County.
Mrs. Orr, 57, of Meridian, died Thursday, April 15, 2004, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include her mother, Mable Orr and her father, Charlie Edwin Orr, both of Meridian; a son, Lee Burt of Boonville and a sister, Carol Ann Saget of Laurel.
Visitation will be today one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
YORK, Ala. Services for Sara Acker Hanson will be held today at 3 p.m. at Livingston Baptist Church with the Revs. Richard Welch and Tim Meadows officiating. Burial will be in Livingston Memorial Gardens with Bumpers Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Hanson, 74, of Livingston, died Friday, April 16, 2004 at Sumter Health and Rehab in York.
Survivors include a son, Russell Hanson and his wife, Sherry, of Livingston; four daughters, Pat Fair and her husband, Ben, of Gordo, Carol Weldon and her husband, Mack, of York, Fran Knight and her husband, Kirk, and Beverly Conway and her husband, Tim, all of Livingston; a brother, Billy Acker and his wife, Margaret; a brother-in-law, Dewitt Kilgore; a sister, Ruth McDaniel and her husband, O'Neal, all of Carrollton; a sister-in-law, Margie Acker of Forkland; 15 grandchildren; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Acker; three sisters, Floree Aycock and her husband, Bob, Kathleen Kilgore and Lavenia Etheridge and her husband, Walter.
PHILADELPHIA Graveside services for M.J. Cosgrove will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Longino Cemetery with Dr. Danny Purser officiating. McClain-Hays Funeral Service Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Cosgrove, 91, of Philadelphia, died Friday, April 16, 2004, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was a retired cattle farmer and home builder. He was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Jo Ella Cosgrove of Philadelphia; daughters, Linda Croft of Louisville and Susan Cosgrove of Philadelphia; a son, Mike Cosgrove of Lawrence; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held today from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
RICHTON Services for L.W. Godfrey will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Richton United Methodist Church with the Revs. Riley Burton and David Huffman officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery. Jones and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Godfrey, 82, of Richton, died Thursday, April 15, 2004, at Regency Hospital of Meridian.
Survivors include his wife, Ervis Dale Godfrey of Richton; a son, Billy Dale Godfrey of Meridian; a sister, Pebble Brown of Booneville, Ark.; a brother, Dr. Garland Godfrey and his wife, Jocille, of Bella Vista, Ark. and two grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Richton United Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
Visitation will be Saturday from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
