PHILADELPHIA Services for Legette Hodgins will be held today at 11 a.m. at John E. Stephens Chapel with the Revs. Dr. Dan Howard and John Stephens officiating. Burial will be in Cedarlawn Cemetery.
Mr. Hodgins, 88, of Philadelphia, died Saturday, April 3, 2004, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in World War II.
Survivors include his sisters, Itaska Ruffin of Clinton and Ima Jean Hudson and her husband, Austin, of Pearl; brothers, Clois Hodgins and his wife, Dorthy, of Mobile, Ala., R.B. Hodgins and his wife, Nita, of Philadelphia and Tracy Hodgins of Brandon.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ella Mae Hodgins.
Services for Melvin Rainer will be held today at 2 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Kenneth Owen and Dale Moore officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Rainer, 78, of Meridian, died Sunday, April 4, 2004, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Annie Lee Rainer of Meridian; step-children, Johnny Riley of Union, Sandra Snowden of Meridian, Mary Ann Eaden of Tuscaloosa, Ala., and Donna Capes of Meridian; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Oak Grove United Methodist Church Building Fund.
Pallbearers will be Frank Tillman, Dan Compton, Patrick Kidd, Sam Kidd, Richard Williams and Gary Thornhill.
Services for Purvis N. Grace will be held today at 2 p.m. at Mt. Zion Moscow Church with the the Rev. Billie Rae Lyles officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Latimer Metropolitan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Grace, 67, of DeKalb, died Friday, April 2, 2004, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include her daughters, Lougenia Barton, Trenetta Grace and Burndetta Davis, all of DeKalb, LaRita Brengettsy of Crosby and Jenetta Grace of Atlanta; a sister, Evangelist Callie Harris of St. Anne, Ill.; a brother, the Rev. Johnnie R. Cole of Chicago Heights, Ill.; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
UNION Services for Marc Hinson will be held today at 2 p.m. at Milling Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Albert Reid and Tony Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Evans Tabernacle Church of God Cemetery in Union.
Mr. Hinson, 16, of Union, died Sunday, April 4, 2004, in Clinton. He loved music and playing his guitar. He will be remembered as a unique poet and writer.
Survivors include his mother, Nelda Brewer and her husband, David, of Union; his father, Mike Hinson and his wife, Carol, of Mendenhall; a brother, Matthew Hinson of Union; a step-sister, Dana Lytle of Little Rock, Ark.; step-brothers, Allen Brewer and Curtis Brewer, both of Florence; maternal grandparents, Jim and Margaret Evans of Union; uncles, Steve Evans and Jimbeau Hinson and his wife, Brenda; an aunt, Beth Allgood and her husband, Jerry; and a cousin, Felicia Allgood.
Pallbearers will be Gary Kemp, Scott Kemp, Andrew Connerly, Shawn McInnish, Eric Kuhm and Jeremy Hoover.

Services for Nannie Elizabeth Warren Beall will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Wayne Crenshaw, Mike Leary and Don Tice officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church Cemetery in Kemper County.
Mrs. Beall, 98, of Meridian, died Sunday, April 4, 2004, at The Specialty Hospital of Meridian. She was a member of the Magnolia Club and The Garden Study Club.
Survivors include her sisters, Juanita Goodbread of Tampa, Fla., Omera Dodson of West Point, Sue Leary of Hampton, Va., and Jean Morton of Hueytown, Ala.; a brother, Otis Warren of Meridian; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Bubba James, Tony James, Eric James, Bobby Edwards, M.L. Warren, Scott Warren and Donald James.
Visitation will be Wednesday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
