JACKSON Meridian's Tyler Scarbrough hit a tie-breaking double in the 12th inning as Mississippi State went on to defeat Louisiana-Monroe 7-3 on Wednesday night.
The Bulldogs (12-2) scored four runs in the 12th inning off Louisiana-Monroe pitcher Brandon Arrant. Brad Jones followed Scarbrough's double with a two-run double of his own, followed by a Tyler Jones RBI single.

Ole Miss 19
Memphis 0
MEMPHIS, Tenn. Cooper Osteen was 4-for-6 and had three RBIs as Ole Miss shut out Memphis 19-0 Wednesday night.
The Rebels (15-1) had 18 hits and held the Tigers to just three.
Charlie Babineaux hit a three-run home run and Mark Wright also had three RBIs for Ole Miss.

MONTICELLO, Ark. The University of West Alabama baseball team won two games over Arkansas-Monticello (18-9) on Wednesday, taking game one 6-2 and game two by the score of 7-5.

CLEVELAND The No. 6 Delta State University Statesmen (18-7) captured a thrilling 15-14 victory in a marathon over the University of Montevallo Falcons on Wednesday when Clay Smith hit a bases-loaded single in the bottom of the ninth.

Louisville 2
Louisville (13-1) gave up three runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to drop its first game of the season to Kosciusko on Tuesday night.
Cody Kelley took the loss on the mound for the Wildcats. Kelley also led the Wildcats at the plate with a double and single.

Lake 8
The Hornets suffered a tough loss on the road last week at the hands of the Newton High Tigers by the final two-run margin. Zack Edwards led the way in the game for Lake by going 2-for-4 with three RBIs.
Cody Everett added a pair of doubles in the game with two RBIs and Kyle Wolfe chipped in with two singles in the loss.

Lake 3
Lake dropped a heartbreaker in district play last week by the one-run margin. Puckett used a pair of runs in the second inning, but Lake did committ five costly errors in the field.
Adam Brown led the way at the plate in the setback for the Hornets with a triple.

Nanih Waiya 5
Lake lost its first game in the Lake Inivational to Noxapater by a final of 8-5, but the Hornets did bounce back to take the five-run win over Nanih Waiya. Heath Street led the way for Lake with a 3-for-4 performance with a home run and Terrell Ricks also went 3-for-4 at the plate with a double.
Adam Brown and Zack Edwards added two singles apiece in the win.
Sam Wooten picked up the win on the mound to improve to 1-0.
