Williams, Humphreys

Sheri and Jack Rush, and Don and Kathy Williams of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Leah Williams, to Jim Humphreys, son of Jerry and Betty Humphreys of Lawrence.
The wedding will be March 13, 2004, at 2 p.m. at Jones Chapel Church of God.
Miss Williams is the granddaughter of Raymond Fountain of Meridian and the late Maxin Fountain, Charles and Syble Williams of Meridian, and Julie Rush and the late James Rush.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Clarkdale High School. She is employed by Meridian Medical Associates.
Mr. Humphreys is the grandson of Melba Humphreys and the late James "Sonny Boy" Humphreys; Rebecca Jay and the late Qunion Jay of Newton.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Newton High School and received an associate's degree in industrial maintenance and pre-engineering from Meridian Community College. He earned a bachelor's degree in industrial technology Mississippi State University.
Mr. Humphreys is employed by Forest Scott County Career Technology Center.
A reception will be held in the church Family Life Center following the ceremony.
Family and friends are invited to attend.
