Miles, Cooper

Danny and Debbie Miles of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Dr. Stephanie Lynn Miles, to Lonny Denton Cooper, son of Larry and Virginia Cooper of Polk, Neb.
The wedding will be Saturday, Jan. 31, 2004, at 3 p.m. at Hastings City Auditorium in Hastings, Neb.
Dr. Miles is the granddaughter of Gloria Hawkins of Meridian and the late D.D. Hawkins, and the late James and Flora Mae Miles.
The bride-elect is a graduate of West Lauderdale High School. She received a bachelor's degree in 1997, her master's degree in 1999 and her doctorate in psychology in 2002 from Mississippi State University.
Dr. Miles is employed by The University of Nebraska Medical Center as their pediatric behavioral psychologist.
Mr. Cooper is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Deverle Cooper of Central City, Neb., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Willis Ravenscroft.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Nebraska Christian in Central City. He received a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio.
While attending Cedarville University, he was a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and the Society of Automotive Engineers.
Mr. Cooper is employed by T&L Irrigation as the product engineer.
A dinner reception will be held at Hastings City Auditorium following the ceremony.
