Higginbotham, Meloche

Brandi Leigh Meloche and Lee Taylor Higginbotham, both of Bailey, were married Saturday, Aug. 30, 2003, at Corinth Baptist Church in DeKalb with the Revs. Robert Higginbotham and Roy Dabbs officiating.
Parents of the couple are the Rev. and Mrs. Robert Higginbotham, and Mr. and Mrs. David Meloche, all of Bailey.
Grandparents of the bride are Mary B. Shular of Meridian, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Johnson of Cleveland, Ohio, and Mr. and Mrs. Larry Meloche of Westland, Mich.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Grady Taylor of Meridian, and the late Cannie and Lettie Higginbotham of Laurel.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Lisa Pevey, pianist; Sandy Boger and Les Hull, vocalists.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a white organza A-line gown with empire waistline and halter jeweled neck and waist with a formal-length train. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of yellow roses, white callas and orange tiger lilies.
Brandy McDonald of Meridian served as maid of honor. Other attendants were Courtney Graham and Melissa Powell, both of Meridian, and Dana Meloche of Cleveland, Ohio, cousin of the bride.
Junior bridesmaid was Tori Meloche, sister of the bride. Emmy Booker of Meridian served as flower girl.
Marc Boger of Meridian was best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Chris Brown of Nashville, Mark Smith, Robbye Spangler, Ben Hatcher and Carl Backer, all of Meridian.
Junior groomsmen were Alex Boger of Meridian and Alec Marlow of Meridian served as ring bearer.
Abby Johnson served as bubble attendant.
A reception was held in the church fellowship hall following the ceremony.
Assisting at the reception were Kara Lank, Brandi Bounds and Abbie Espey.
On the eve of the wedding, a rehearsal dinner was hosted by the bridegroom's parents at Damascus Community Center.
After a honeymoon in St. Maarten, Netherlands, the couple resides in Meridian.
