Pierce, Snowden

Ed and Gwynne Pierce of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Elizabeth, to Brian Charles Snowden, son of Tim and Sherry Snowden of Meridian.
The wedding will be Saturday, Aug. 9, 2003, at 6 p.m. at Highland Baptist Church.
Miss Pierce is the granddaughter of Ruby Chambley of Grenada and the late E.L. Chambley, and the late James M. and Pearlean Pierce of Artesia.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Northeast Lauderdale High School and received a degree in marketing from Mississippi State University.
While attending MSU, she was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta sorority, Habitat for Humanity and the Baptist Student Union.
Miss Pierce is employed by Graphic Printers.
Mr. Snowden is the grandson of Charles and Rita Snowden, and the late Kenneth Heblon and Jerry Heblon, all of Meridian.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Meridian High School and received a degree in mechanical engineering from Mississippi State University, where he was a member of ASME.
Mr. Snowden is employed by Alabama Power.
A reception will be held in the church fellowship hall following the ceremony.
