GILBERTOWN, Ala. Services for Jimmie E. Kelley will be held today at 2 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bob Young officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Kelley, 71, died Tuesday, July 8, 2003, at Washington County Infirmary in Chatom, Ala.
Survivors include his mother, Dora Eithel Kelley of Butler; sons, Patrick Wayne Kelley and Corey Eugene Kelley, both of Chatom, and Jim Kelley of Dallas; daughters, Sherry K. Coody and Beverly K. Skelton, both of Toxey; a sister, Teanie Kelley of Butler; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Curtis Kelley; and a son, David Kelley.
Retired
Services for Maida M. Chisolm will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Richard Robbins officiating. Burial will be in Enterprise Cemetery.
Mrs. Chisolm, 82, of Meridian, died Tuesday, July 8, 2003, at Guardian Angel Hospice. She was retired from Medi-Save Pharmacy and a member of Poplar Springs Drive United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her granddaughter, Michele Long of Dallas; sisters, Juanita Lucas and Janelle Downey, both of Toxey, Ala.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Chisolm.
Visitation will be Friday 9 a.m.-11 a.m. at the funeral home.

UNION Services for Mickey Lee Fitzgerald will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Hopewell Baptist Church in Little Rock with the Revs. Jimmy McDill and Stan Buckley officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Milling Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Fitzgerald, 45, of Little Rock, died Tuesday, July 8, 2003, in Meridian.
Survivors include his wife, Tammie Fitzgerald of Little Rock; a son, Cory Fitzgerald of Little Rock; a daughter, Casey Young and her husband, Josh, of Decatur; a brother, Ricky Fitzgerald and his wife, Susan, of Philadelphia; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Myrtis and Hubert Fitzgerald.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for Mary Pauline McRoy Bailey will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Jimmy Harrison and Jason Harms officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
Mrs. Bailey, 93, of Meridian, died Wednesday, July 9, 2003, in her home. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church for most of her life but later joined Central United Methodist Church in 1990.
During World War II, she served as a Grey Lady at Key Field. She was an active member of the Pushmataha Chapter of The Daughters of the American Revolution since 1944, where she served as registrar for 25 years.
She was a member of the Order of the First Families of Mississippi 1699-1817, the National Society of Magna Charta Dames, The Mississippi Division of Magna Charta Dames, the Mississippi Society and Daughters of Colonial Wars.
She was born in Meridian and educated in the Meridian Public School System and graduated from Meridian High School.
Survivors include her son, Claude Scott Bailey Jr. and his wife, Kay, of Meridian; two grandchildren, Mary Katherine Bryan and her husband, Walter, of Madison, and Claude Scott Bailey III and his wife, Rene, of Meridian; three great-grandchildren, Ashley Katherine Bryan and Bailey Michelle Bryan, both of Madison, and Shelton Scott Bailey of Meridian; a sister, Helen A. Delaware of Sarasota, Fla.; brothers, Wallace James McRoy of Birmingham, Ala., and William David McRoy of Rippon, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Scott Bailey; parents, Paul Douglas McRoy and Mary Hebron McElroy McRoy; sisters, Bessie Louise Dennis and Margaret Reynolds Loesch; and a brother, Clifton Cameron McRoy.
Memorials may be made to Central United Methodist Church or a favorite charity.
Pallbearers will be Terry W. White, Russell L. Brown, Walter A. Bryan Jr., Robert E. Parker Jr., Larry B. Flood and Glynn N. Beasley.
Visitation will be Friday 12:30 p.m.-2 p.m. at the funeral home.

HATTIESBURG Graveside services for Bessie Octavia James will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Magnolia Cemetery. Moore Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. James, 87, of Grand Junction, Colo., formerly of Hattiesburg and Meridian, died Sunday, July 6, 2003, at Mantey Heights Nursing Home in Grand Junction. She retired from One-Hour Martinizing in 1980. She was a Baptist.
Survivors include her son, James Charles Smith of Grand Junction; a sister, Flora Dubuisson of Meridian; five grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Carmen E. Shrove; and sisters, Ersel Burton, Mary Moon, Annie Lee Ott and Stella Strange.
Visitation will be Friday 9 a.m.-11 a.m. at the funeral home.

SEBASTOPOL Services for Lucy Thrash will be held Friday at 3 p.m. at Milling Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. C.M. Jinkerson officiating. Burial will be in Old White Plains Cemetery.
Ms. Thrash, 75, of Union, died, Wednesday, July 9, 2003, at Laird Alliance Hospital.
Survivors include her sons, Johnny Thrash, Kenneth Thrash and Al Thrash, all of Union, and Bobby Thrash of Edinberg; sisters, Helen French, Margaret Evans, Mary Florence Taylor and Ruby Spence, all of Union; brothers, D.Q. Graham and Lumas Graham, both of Sebastopol; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
