July 18-19 Lamar High School Class of 1983 will have its 20-year reunion in Meridian. For information, e-mail Delita Duncan Waldron at waldronrx@aol.com or call 483-8062. Please note the date has been changed from the previous date of May 30-31, but plans remain the same.
July 18-20 Meridian High School Class of 1978 will have its 25th reunion. Friday, a get-acquainted and registration time will be at Montana's Bar-B-Q &Seafood Restaurant from 6 p.m.-9 p.m.; Saturday, a dinner will be held at Montana's at 7 p.m. with a dance following; Sunday a memorial service will be held at East Mississippi Electric Power Association at 11 a.m. For information, call 917-6793 or 880-3190. July 19 Newton High School's Class of 1968 will have its reunion at the Jackson Hilton. Classes of 1967 and 1969 also are invited to attend. The cost is $60 per person and will include dinner and entertainment. For information, call Larry Greer at (601) 982-7730.
July 19 Oak Grove High School Class of 1993 will have its 10-year reunion. Events are planned for Friday evening and Saturday noon (includes children), and will conclude with a sit-down banquet Saturday evening for graduates and their spouses/dates at Southern Oaks in Hattiesburg.
