Services for Jerry L. Smith will be held Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Paul Earley and Tommy Jones officiating. Burial will be in Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Smith, 51, of Meridian, died Sunday, May 25, 2003, in Meridian. He was a graduate of Southeast Lauderdale High School and attended Mississippi State University. He was a member of Hebron Baptist Church. He was a food department employee in Florida and North Mississippi Medical Center. Mr. Smith was a restaurant owner and operator in Meridian.
Survivors include his daughter, Jennifer Smith of Venice, Fla.; his mother, Ouida Raulins and her husband, Jewel, of Meridian; a brother, James T. Smith and his wife, Sherry, of Cody, Wyo.; a niece, Dr. Stephanie Phelps and her husband, David, of Ft. Worth, Texas; aunts, Adelia "Pete" Thomas and Rowena Moore and her husband, Raymond, all of Meridian; an uncle Fred Thurman of Dallas; several cousins and friends; and a special friend, John Mayo of Aurora, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his father, James R. "Billy" Smith; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J.A. Smith, and Mr. and Mrs. Ted Williamson.
Memorials may be made to Hebron Baptist Church or the American Diabetes Association.
Pallbearers will be Gerald Wayne Thompson, Darrel Stodard, Scott Albamese, Dustin Thomas, David Little and Richard Lewis.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Howell, Ray Tabor and Rafer F. Jellman.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Graveside services for Clara Mae Robinson will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Hall officiating. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Robinson, 75, of Meridian, died Monday, May 26, 2003, at Wayne General Hospital.
Survivors include her daughters, Carolyn Jackson of Meridian and Wanda Williams of Silas, Ala.; sons, Jerry Robinson and Michael Robinson, both of Meridian, Donald Robinson of Ripley, Danny Ray Robinson and Robert Robinson, both of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; four brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be Wednesday 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Graveside services for Karleen Klein Rose will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at Meridian Jewish Cemetery. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Rose, 87, of Atlanta, died Monday, May 26, 2003, in Atlanta.
Survivors include her children, Al Rose and his wife, Nancy, of St. Louis and Kay Wolpert and her husband, Marvin, of Atlanta; grandchildren, Elise Wolpert of Statesboro, Ga., Brad Wolpert of Atlanta, Claudia Rose of Chicago and Micah Rose of St. Louis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Al Rose; and parents, Irma and Arthur Klein.
Arrangements were incomplete at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home for Willie A. Moore, 62, of Lauderdale, who died Saturday, May 24, 2003, in his home.
